I’ve had the chance to visit several ReStores across the region—Barrie, Orillia, Bracebridge, Angus, and Midland—and each one has its own unique charm. The Midland location stands out to me as one of the best. The store is clean, well laid out, and thoughtfully organized. What really sets it apart is the extra effort they put into arranging items by season or theme, which adds a nice touch and makes browsing more enjoyable.

The staff in Midland are generally very friendly and helpful, which makes the shopping experience even better. You can tell that the team here takes pride in the space and how it’s presented. There’s a pricing system in place that’s based on the colour of the price tags, which helps when you’re hunting for deals. That said, as with most ReStores, some items do seem a little overpriced initially, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for markdowns.

If you enjoy thrifting or DIY projects, this location is worth a stop. It consistently ranks in my top two ReStores to visit. Plus, there’s plenty of free parking available, which is always a bonus. It’s a great spot to check out for unique finds and home improvement treasures.

My out of town friend bought clothing from this Restore. They have no change rooms to try clothing on. She asked me to return some of the clothes for store credit and when I did was told no store credit for clothing.

No policy sign posted anywhere (should be one at the register) - they assume either customers have telepathy or only in-the-know townies would shop there.

Update: My friend texted me saying she was told by the clerk on Monday there would be store credit on the clothing she purchased. I then called asking for store manager. Clint came on and assured me there IS store credit for clothing. He apologized and said he'd give me an additional bonus credit for my inconvenience.

I returned, Clint gave me his apology and arranged the store credit with bonus credit.

Neither the old white haired lady clerk or the other lady clerk who both originally told me "no" offered an apology but I did get an eye-roll from the old white haired one.

I went into the restore to purchase floor heater's. I had 2 of the same heaters..One was $17.00 & the other $5.00. She wouldn't let me have it for $5.00. I am on a pension. Sad how they serve the elite now & forget about us not so rich people.It was a good store once. Too expensive now for used items.

Amazing staff! You can really see how much they care about what they do and the customers who frequent the store.
My partner and I visit 1-3 times a week as products are always changing and we love supporting local, charity and reusing rather than buying new.
I highly recommend you check out this Restore location!

I find prices on some items are a little higher than I can pay, but other items are affordable. Great place to wander and check out what they have.

They need to re-evaluate their pricing at this location. It is the most expensive re-store I’ve been to with most items costing the same as buying brand new or more. Damaged picture frames for $125/each, old salt and pepper shakers $20 for a pair? The pricing didn’t make much sense. I will continue to support habitat for humanity at other locations.

While there is great selection, this location has definitely bumped up their prices. I’m okay with it as the money is going towards a cause, but if you’re watching your wallet this might not be the best place to score a deal.

Seems like the prices on must items has drastically risen .but the staff are very helpful
