My husband was just recently a resident at the palliative care residence and I can say nothing but the best caring, devoted medical professionals, and staffs. They were very attentive to all his needs. They were also there for me as I was there 24/7 with my husband. I highly recommend this place for anybody who needs palliatice care. Thank you for caring.

I want to start by saying THANK YOU to the WHOLE team at Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.
My father was sent there on thursday the 1st of August and passed away on the 6th.
My mother stayed with him 24 hours a day and the care that was given to my father and the attention that was given to my mother was more than priceless.
Nobody ever wants a loved one to go to palliative care but should your love one need that, I VERY highly recommend Teresa Dellar
Thank you are not big enough words to show my appreciation.

I have visited the Theresa Sellar Palliative Care Center twice, and unfortunately, my experience has been highly disappointing. While the facility has a nice garden, it's inaccessible to patients, rendering it almost pointless.

Despite asking for assistance multiple times to help move my mom from her bed to the outdoors, we never received any help. I have also received multiple complaints about the night shifts. Even when the call bell is rung multiple times, the response time is too long, resulting in my mom soiling herself often.

The center's marketing is excellent, but the reality does not match up. They seem to rely on the fact that families are unlikely to move their loved ones due to the burden of finding another place, which is unacceptable.

I cannot even begin to express how much gratitude and respect I have for all the staff here.
My grandmother Frances was brought here from Lakeshore hospital after being diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and was only around for a few weeks until she finally crossed over and passed away just last night.

I had flown in from Vancouver the day before but my dad who lives nearby was around every day to see her and had nothing but good things to say about how kind the whole team was. Even in the short time I got to be around the facility I got to witness how much love the doctors, nurses, assistants, art therapist and other staff put into caring for not only the patients but to the family members. They truly are real life angels, and the level of compassionate care that they demonstrated was as if they were extended family members to us.

I am forever indebted to each and every one of you who was there for my nanny Frances. May you all be continuously blessed with good health, joy and an abundance of love in this life.

You have all made a huge difference in making this very difficult transition as graceful and as comfortable as it could be.

Thank you thank you thank you

Can't say enough nice things about the staff and facilities here. They are almost as nice as my favourite fundraiser! You guys do a tough "job" and do it so well. It's not really a job at all is it? It is more of a calling. You know my Dad and you know how important this place was to him. That is all I am going to say here, except to thank you for looking after him.

Dedicating, loving, patient and compassionate. Our deared one often teared up due to her gratefullness for the dedication and service of the staff.

Brilliant facilities and everything was what was said in the promotional material. My mother-in-law is/was a native Chinese speaking and one of our concerns for her was language barrier. She could speak in English but with her condition it was hard. She always felt very welcome and understood.

So much better then the hospital and so much better then home where proir to her admission she was under emotional distress over loss of mobility and independance.

If you are going here with your family I would recommend bringing:
Flower Vase
Slippers
Headphones
Scissors (for opening foods, cutting flower stems)
Quick easy healthy snacks
