We Called R&R to come give us an estimate for water proofing our basement. They were very fast and professional with a response. R&R came in and looked over the job, we talked about 2 options interior and exterior. R&R was very responsive with a quote as we had a deadline to get this done by. We just had Remove and Restore install a weeping tile, membrane, and sump pump for some wet spots in our basement. Rob responded to our initial call quickly, came out to quote in a very reasonable timeframe (same day). He then delivered the e-quote immediately after leaving our home. A few other companies no-showed or took 4+ days to deliver quotes. We don't want to waste time with a leaky basement.

We had multiple parties come out to assess the situation and provide a quote, but ultimately chose to go with R&R because they seemed the most knowledgeable and responsive. They were not the most expensive quote, nor the cheapest quote. We were not looking to have service done based exclusively on price. Because Rob answered questions and educated us on the first visit about why certain things should be done one way, can be done another, definitely shouldn't be done a third, we felt that we were well-prepared to make a decision. Because of the insights and lack of "just tossing the cheapest quote out," we were happy to choose R&R. Rob explained pumping into a floor drain, why it was a bad idea, and why/where to sump. Other parties didn't, and we're so glad that we didn't go the route of pumping to a floor drain unknowingly.

Rob was able to schedule the work in a quick timeframe from the initial quote, and they showed up on time (or early) both days of the job. Punctuality means that these guys value your time and aren't messing around. They put all of our shelving back on the walls, moved our appliances, and got the job done right. They worked around our crazy cats, and even put down runners down to avoid scratching our hardwood floors. Beyond that, because of an appointment that I'd forgotten about, we ended up leaving the crew in our home without being there for a few hours. That's a hard thing to do. They made sure to have someone present, and were honourable during this, not interfering with anything in our home.

Overall, we're very pleased with the service that we received and would recommend this company to anyone out there looking to have their basement fixed right, and not get janked around. They involved us in decisions and educated us each step of the way.

Rob and his team also went above-and-beyond by coming back, delivering the warranty, and even dealing with a tube from our washer that was moved somewhere along the way.

We had a leak repaired last year by another company and paid thousands for the work, then it leaked again! We found Robert from Remove & Restore on Homestars (he gets 10/10!) and he promptly got back to us. He explained all the details around his plan and executed it fast and extremely professionally. We trusted him from the beginning, even after having been duped by someone else. I'd give 6 stars if it was an option!
