Quaint park, interesting area.

The park itself is quite small, but has a lot within it. Historical monuments, a fountain and several benches to rest. There was also nice music playing while we were there. The surrounding shops are great for tourists and locals alike and as with many spots on our journey through Miramichi, the people welcomed you with open arms.

Beautiful treed square with speakers hidden in the trees playing Irish music. Lovely little spot to sit and listen to live music as well when there is an event. They have wrought iron table and chairs with a checker board built , grab some change and have a game. So much fun. An epitaph commemorative displaying the names of those who fought in the different wars has a place of dignity in the park alongside the firehall bell and memorial for firemen lost in service.
There ar na few stores around it, one is Tim Hortons and I recommend picking up a coffee and sitting in the work for a few minutes of peace in this serene place to recharge your batteries. Lovely fountain to listen to as well while you sit back and relax before carrying on with your day.
A must see for your trip to Miramichi.

Nice and peaceful place to be around our just to look at. The beautiful display of flower decorations all around during summer is delightful. I also like that music is played through some speakers. It is very clean and colorful.

Can be a very nice place to sit and relax or have a picnic or stop to eat at the new picnic tables also you can play checkers or chess at one of 4 playing tables permanently set up and if you don't have your game pieces with you the Town Hall is right across the street and you can sign out a set there free of charge 😉

It's a stunning park to see and walk around, I love the fountain and the atmosphere. My only complaint is the men who are always there, smoking cigarettes & marijuana and making it feel a little uncomfortable to just sit there with my child.
