We attended the production of Young Frankenstein last night and had an absolute blast. The cast were all excellent in their roles, the choreography costuming and set were amazing and the singers and orchestra were superb. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - well done! There were a few times when the music was a bit loud compared to the actors voices and it drowned out some of the lines but overall that was a very minor detraction. We are looking forward to future productions!

I've been attending Pine Tree Player events for 25 years. Young Frankenstein is one of the best. What made it so special was the presence of the orchestra.....the live music was exceptional. This was in addition to great acting, great voices and fun dancing. Thank you!

Young Frankenstein was the most enjoyable performance we have ever seen at Pine Tree Players. A real treat.
The set was imaginative, the music was excellent and all the cast were excellent in their roles. We especially enjoyed the roles of Inga, Frederick (young Frankenstein) and Igor.

We went to see Young Frankenstein at the Canmore Miner's Hall. For community theater, this was top notch. The production was quite well done, and their ability to make use of transforming such simple set pieces into an entire play's scenery was extremely well done. The cast performed quite well and you could see how much effort went into rehearsing not only the lines but the dance choreography.

We will be seeing more Pine Tree Players shows in the future.

Live theatre is a unique and special thing, and it is unique and special for Canmore to have the Pine Tree Players in their community to provide live theatre in their creative, enthusiastic, and talented way. Cherish them. Young Frankenstein continues their tradition of lively and fun theatre, presented with energy and skill. I particularly loved the barbershop quartet!

A group of us went to see Young Frankenstein last week and were amazed at the quality of most of the performances, and the ingenuity of the set. Wow! The actors playing the main roles were extraordinary, and most of the ensemble was excellent as well. The venue however was pretty bad and we would have to think twice about attending another event at the Miners Union Hall. I have a feeling Pine Tree Players May not have had another choice but boy was it uncomfortable: terrible chairs squished into a small space, really hard to see the stage unless one was lucky enough to snag a seat in the front row of each three row riser. I would pay more to see a show in a more comfortable space. And bless them, it was amusing to watch 3 of the ensemble actors who looked like they had just walked in off the street, obviously super self-conscious and uncomfortable in their roles.

Great fun! Frederick, Igor, Inga, Housekeeper and the Monster were all great. I loved the chorus, they were all expressive and did a great job on the singing and dancing. The orchestra was flawless. They were anle to keep the accompaniment low enough so we could hear the actors. No small challenge in such a small room.

Overall well done performance and an interesting presentation. Unfortunately the audio quality was not consistent - levels loud then quiet, muted background noise could be heard frequently. Lead player (Christopher Boone) spoke very quickly at times making it difficult to catch what was said. Graphics overlay and video quality was well done. Would look forward to more performances!
