Penticton search and rescue was absolutely amazing on March 25 navigating the difficult terrain to locate and extract my limp body off the side of Naramata’s bluffs on one of the dirt bike trails after I had crashed and broke all my back ribs and thought I was dying from a hemorrhaging spleen. The team worked swiftly and professionally to provide the most excellent helicopter long line rescue that went off with out missing a beat. Before I knew it I was on the ground and safely transported to Penticton hospital. Thank you to everyone involved I can’t express enough how grateful I am and truly impressed with Penticton search and rescue.

They saved my husband on Easter day 2018, he was air lifted to safety. They searched for him for 4 hours, it was minus temps and snowing. He was lost snowshoeing in the mountain. Thank you SAR, and all the volunteers.
