My experience in this apartment was overwhelmingly negative, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Negative Points:

Security Deposit: They didn't tell me how long I had to wait in order to have the deposit back. Thus, I had to wait a long time to receive the security deposit back, and when I finally did, 90 CAD was missing. Despite sending multiple requests, I never received a response.

Management: Until September, the previous manager, Marcela, was very helpful and always responded promptly to emails. Unfortunately, with the new manager, Robin, the situation has drastically deteriorated. Robin never responds to communications and is always very rude and discourteous. She is difficult to communicate with, is never in the office, and does not answer emails or calls. When I did manage to speak with her, she was always very rude, did not provide clear instructions, and even raised her voice.

Amenities: The washing machines are only 5 and do not work well. Moreover they are very dirty and always busy, making it difficult to do laundry efficiently and hygienically.

Odors: There is a strong smell of food in the hallways because some apartment do not have the fan in the kitchen, creating an unpleasant environment.

Positive Points:

Location: The proximity to the University of Manitoba. The busses stop are really close.

Internal Cleanliness: The internal cleanliness of the building is good and the ladies are really kind.

In conclusion, due to the poor management and various issues encountered, I do not recommend this apartment at all. I do not think that this building reflects the Canada environment at all.

Lived here for over 4 years (before finding a house) The buildings are taken care of very well, cleaning crews in everyday and management/ caretakers are very kind, and on top of things. Over all good experience living here since new management (Robin Mayer).

Very rubbish place to stay!! The managements acts like they are all sadists. Tell me how on earth someone moves out like 3 months ago and still waiting to get back security deposit. If you move out of this place you are not getting your security deposit back immediately! You will wait for more than 3 months to get your security deposit

The site manager Catalina is very professional, we lived in the apartment for 3 years and it was amazing. Catalina responds to emails promptly and schedule maintenance in a timely manner. Catalina is not only professional and has a high knowledge of the position, she's also very nice, relatable and smart. I will recommend her any day and any time cause my experience with her was nothing but AWESOME.

The manager Catalina is one of the worst! She smiled at you and promised she would do the repair right away, but she never go thing done! And be careful about leaving the apartment and getting your deposit back! Because the manager would tell you everything is sparkling clean, how amazing you cleaned the apt, but secretly put something on the list without telling you and deduct money from your deposit secretly. Then 10 days later you got the deposit, you tried found out why she did that, she got angry and ignore all the calls. Not professional at all, rude attitude and unreasonable actions.

Amazing experience! lived there for 3 years or so. People were so nice and cooperative particularly Site Manager- Catalina. She is extremely cooperative and so quick to solve the complaints. Nice neighbourhood, good maintenance and security.

This apartment complex is fairly clean. The manager isnt too swift in replying to tentants requests for repairs though. Requests have been made by a tenant to move upstairs because of noisy neighbours but its been 9 years.
