Don't go here unless you are on the brink of death. Otherwise, you won't get seen. Brought my son in here and got dismissed because "he looks fine." My baby has pneumonia and hasn't been eating or drinking much for 3 days. 811 told me to go in because he's at risk for dehydration. A joke of a hospital.

Delivered my baby here and the nursing staff and doctors even the students working there were so kind and knowledgeable. Definitely enjoyed my stay here and all the care and support I received. Will keep coming back every time thank you.

Called ahead of time to confirm I could get a tetanus shot cause it was later in the evening. Was told by the ER I could and came in 35 minutes later. Was then greeted at the door with nothing but a rude attitude and when I mentioned I called they said I didn’t talk to anybody there and proceeded to treat me like an idiot. Checked in, waited a while and then was told I can’t get my shot there. Another girl came out saying it was her that talked to me. Then after them realizing it was their fault they still gave me nothing but disrespect because they think it’s my fault they don't know how to communicate. Girl from the phone was nice, the three girls at the desk can kick rocks… 1/10

I just called about a follow up to my wisdom tooth infection and the woman at the phone sounded tired of me the minute she picked up after 3 rings. I told her my infection spread to my nose and now my eye socket hurts, as well as headaches. She told me to call 811 or go to the emergency room if it's really THAT bad, before I even finished talking. I was trying to set up a real appointment. She disregarded me and cut me off every-time I tried to talk, I felt stupid for even calling. hopefully my sinus infection hasn't spread to my eye/brain because of their negligence.

This is by far the worst hospital with the absolute worst doctors I’ve ever seen, or had to have an encounter with. Disgusting disregard for anyone, everyone I’ve spoke to has been misdiagnosed in major ways. There truly needs to be accountability for these doctors and how they aren’t doing their jobs or how brutally they are actually doing them. You are better off driving hours away to another hospital because you’ll actually get the treatment you need and speak to a real doctor, not some slum who couldn’t make it anywhere else in Canada. Bottom of the garbage can is what you’ll get for professionals around this hospital. Best of luck and hopefully nobody has to suffer the loss of a loved one because of the horrendous atmosphere at the peace river hospital!

The worst hospital experience I have ever had. These people have zero regard for a persons well being and seem to know nothing about medicine. You're better off going almost anywhere else.

Came in August 10 needed blood work for pancreatitis that had to be sent out to Manning because they were not able to run the test I needed in Peace River. I was sent home overnight and had the Dr call me with my results this morning. Was told to come back in to be admitted at 930 this morning, now 3 1/2 hours later I have finally seen another dr in emergency and they are running blood work again and was told they don't know if they will be admitting me. Not once while I was waiting to seee the dr did i have anyone check on me. The care here in the emergency department is horrible. I would recommend to go somewhere else for care

If you want to survive. Go somewhere else. Terrible people with terrible attitude. Snap at you when you try to ask about the treatment they are giving. Aggressive. Misdiagnosed everything. The worst I've ever experienced. If my wife wasn't there, they would have let me die in the hallway.
