Parrot Partners Canada is a hidden gem just outside Ottawa in Carleton Place. They focus on rehabilitating, training, and rehoming parrots, and it’s an unforgettable experience for anyone who visits.

I went there with friends and our kids, and it felt like stepping into a little piece of the Amazon right here in Canada. The parrots are stunning—so colorful, smart, and full of personality. The staff is passionate and knows everything about these incredible birds.

We got to interact with them up close, learn about their care, and even watch some training in action. The kids were amazed, and honestly, so were we! They also host cool events like parrot-themed birthday parties, making it a perfect spot for families.

If you love animals or just want a unique experience, this place is a must-visit. It’s fun, educational, and supports a great cause. Definitely worth the trip!

Do you have a bird crazy kid in your family like us? Boy does he love this place. Parrot Partner is a educational resource and sanctuary for dozens of fantastic and interesting birds. We were able to interact with macaws, cockatoos, grey parrots and more. They can talk! They can sing! They love to show off their personalities. Our family really enjoyed our visit. Especially the bird loving boy.

My 8 year old daughter celebrated her birthday at Parrot Partners. We had an excellent experience. The staff were so helpful and wonderful. The space was big and decorative in its own right. The interactive presentation was amazing. All of the children were engaged and had an opportunity to handle a parrot. The experience was informative and exciting for everyone. I highly recommend celebrating parties with this Parrot Partners .

Parrot Partners provide an immaculate environment to the parrots that are left for boarding. I left my cockatiel with them for five nights. I was a bit worried in the beginning about leaving my bird given that she is relatively a young bird, and it was her first time being away from home. However, upon my return, I found a happier bird. Additionally, when I left my bird at the organization, I only had one perch in my cage, but they put some extra perches in my bird cage without any extra or hidden charges. In fact, when I went to pick up my parrot, the nice lady there left the extra perches in the cage without any additional cost.

Their organization also provides training sessions for the birds to control some unwanted behaviours from parrots. Furthermore, they also take an extra precaution when admitting the bird. For instance, they ask for an emergency number if the said person who is dropping the bird cannot pickup the bird because of some unforeseen events. Moreover, they also provide grooming services for the parrots.

I will definitely be using their services again in the future.

This is such a great place for all things Parrot-wise. The boarding rates are more than reasonable with such a caring and capable staff! They have always shown patience toward the first time parrot owner. And realistically, Carleton Place is not too far for such excellent service.
