I am finally free!! It feels so good to say that. I felt so discouraged before. Finding work and traveling was a huge headache.
Now, I won't lie and say this was a fast process. The whole thing took over a year, but it was extremely helpful to have someone pointing me in all the right directions. They took care of everything for me other than the updated fingerprinting and the payment for my background check. It was not a "cheap" process either, but now that it's all over, it was well worth it. I hope others take the steps to getting their lives back with the help from Pardons Canada.

I applied for there services 2 years too early. I followed the instructions, and had paid up in full. I was genuinely concerned that I would lose my money or never hear back.

Before I had a chance to reach out about the status of my file 2 years later, they reached out first. Promptly received update on my file within the timeframe they set out for me, not a day late.

20 years from my last conviction.
They took my money and said pay this $100 fine. You’ll have your pardon in no time… this was 2 years ago.
I got an email last week that says, 2029 my pardon request goes into the parole board.
The fine payment started the clock all over again... Now they have my money and I have no job…

I’ll have no home soon as well.
Good thing I gave you a couple grand that’s not refundable…
