It’s been so refreshing dealing with Dan and the professionals he hires to complete work on his jobs. On time. Friendly. Dedicated to their craft. I can’t recommend Paramount enough for anyone looking for new construction or fixes on an existing home. Dan & team are almost certainly the best choice you’ll make for your project.

My wife and I wanted to build a custom home on a lot that we purchased in a north end neighbourhood. We viewed some of Paramount Home Builders homes in the area and really enjoyed the quality and evident attention to detail. After engaging Dan, he helped us get drawings and a specification outlining what products, install methods, and finishes that were going to be included in the pricing. This home was not an easy project due to the fact that it was a custom design, and I am in the construction industry and have a fairly high knowledge of construction so they were going to be held to task. The design of the home had aspects that would be typical, well as adding things to the home that would be considered very custom. Triple tandem garage, extensive electrical requirements, low voltage conduit system, as well as unique construction requests such as closer than normal floor joists and sound proofing drywall in our bonus room. Dan at Paramount was a joy to work with, cares about the client and the product he is building. Although value is important, quality was always slightly ahead in priority to ensure that the balance was achieved with products used. What resonated with us the most was Paramount's dedication to a happy client. Although re-work was very minimal on our house, if there was re-work that needed to be completed it was done timely, and with no headache. We also found that Paramount cared passed the "warranty" period. A typical home builder has no issue promising things when things go well, but I always believe true character is shown when things don't go as planned. We have been in the home for almost 4 years and with the exception of normal new home things (some minor settling etc.) the home has performed well and still brings us much enjoyment. A piece of advice for anyone building a new custom home, be thorough and ask for a specification for the construction techniques, products, and finishes being utilized, and tweak them as necessary as close to the beginning as possible so that everyone is on the same page. This was one of the key elements that Paramount did well and helped make the project a success. We would highly recommend Dan and Paramount Home Builders if you are exploring a renovation or new home!

We hired DJR Contracting to build a new home. We would never recommend doing business with Jamie DePape and Audrey Megan Dolhan. They do not pay their subtrades. They are very dishonest people.
