I felt I must leave a review because my recent experience really touched me. I called looking for information and actually left a message at the wrong place. Tina Edmonson was the recipient of my message and although it's not her area or specialty she went out of her way to research and find me the resources I was requesting. When she called back I was met with such empathy and kindness and it really shows that she truly cares about the community in which she is serving. I really wish she was the one specializing in what I was looking for! Tina you are making a difference and you should be acknowledged!

At Options we believe in helping people help themselves. We believe in collaborating with individuals, businesses, community groups and government to create focused, effective and responsive resources for the community.

Throughout the pandemic, Options has adopted additional precautions and adapted our services so we could continue to provide you with the support our community needs. As an essential service, ensuring the ongoing safety of our clients, staff and volunteers remains our priority.

When visiting one of our sites, please continue to practice physical distancing and stay home if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms. The decision to wear a mask or face covering is a personal choice. A person's choice is supported and treated with respect.

Please note, some sites are covered by the Proof of Vaccination Public Health Order. When entering these sites, all staff, contractors, students and volunteers are required to provide proof of full vaccination/exemption/proof of exemption.

A great place for those struggling with mental health issues to develop some usable skills.
If you are struggling with mental health issues and you have a therapist/counselor, I highly recommend getting a referral.

Tina Edmondson supports and love my beautiful daughter. Helping her learn coping skills and what is the difference between abuse and loving relationship. So much help she has given me on personal time, better advice/ strategy then I have ever received from any legal representation. We love you, Tina! Thanks for everything! I'm involved with the P.E.A.C.E. program .enough Families and or children struggling with abuse will find resources and counseling. Excellent service for children. Tina Edmondson goes above and beyond, cannot recommend enough!!!!

So far, the staff have been very rude to me. I called and asked for help with my homeless crisis. They told me "Everything is full, you'll have to call back or Go to Sums". I am a recovering Heroin/Fetanyl Addict on Methadone, I know far too many people at Sums, to ever go back. It is impossible. Regardless I called Options, not Sums for help. Stop being so Lazy

Options Community Services is a community resource. They help with a range of issues including domestic violence, housing and homelessness. When you enter into the building there are friendly reception staff and a pleasant waiting room. This is also where Fraser Health Crisis Line volunteers are staffed that operate the crisis lines in the lower mainland.
