Everyone that I’ve encountered at Odd Squad is very welcoming and kind whether that is the youth that show up for judo classes, the volunteers, a board member or one of the founders.

I’ve noticed that Odd Squad members are very recognizant, generous and appreciative of the help they receive. They are like a chosen family that is filled with a diversity of people.

I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child ..Odd Squad has proven to be an imperative resource in my sons life. This camping opportunity (along with many other experiences Odd Squad has shined on my son) has helped me raise a grounded boy who gets to be around good people and take on great life experiences outside the home. Here at Odd Squad, I've learned not only about physical literacy but also developed integral aspects of life such as teamwork, diligence, and humanitarianism.

I was part of a 4-day-trip away from home, and they were extremely welcoming and hospitable. During the camp, we not only cultivated new camping knowledge, but also learned how to support others and ourselves in life, paying forward things such as chopping and stacking wood. I look forward to both physical literacy with Police Judo as well as Odd Squad's other programs.
