All the staff on the surgical floor took the absolute best care of my Mom before, during and after an emergency femur surgery. I live about 4 hours away, and had no doubt in their capabilities. Phenomenal nurses and cnas. The surgeon also was compassionate and put my worries at ease throughout. 10/10

Visited this hospital many times over few years for multiple reasons. All issues were non critical. Ambulatory care centre is very busy and most of the time is behind schedule due to volume of patients or unknown reasons. However last two visits were on time. No need to wait and there was not many patients. Nurses and doctors are very caring and helpful. Hospital is neat and clean. They’re very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Emergency centre was not busy. Can be seen less than an hour. Overall had good experience.

I wish to express my appreciation for our experience during our stay at Northern Regional Hospital. In general, I found the nurses to be exceptional in their care. However, on the day of our discharge, we were attended to by a student nurse who profoundly altered my perception regarding the involvement of students in medical care. She displayed a remarkable level of proficiency in her duties, to the extent that one could easily mistake her for a seasoned professional. She skillfully bathed my newborn and attended to all our needs with utmost competence and compassion. Words cannot adequately convey my admiration for her exceptional service. Great job and keep it up!

I hate being in a hospital but I had to be there! So many Nurses and Doctors helped me get my treatment. Thanks Trina and Dr Denga. The Cleaning staff and Dining staff also were very friendly. Also a shout out to the amazing staff at Alberta Central Air Ambulance for transporting to Edmonton and back.

Had amazing service from the hospital.
The Doctor was so kind and so was the nurse.
They made sure all was taken care of before I was let to go home.
I am so grateful for the services you do as a hospital here in FortMcmurray.

Whites only. Better not be an elder either. First Nations peoples are treated like criminals no matter what. Old folks are consistently fighting against medical errors. My grandmother has been fed an overdose of drugs after a surgery and the nurses acted like it never happened. A lack of vigilance or maybe the lack of care resulted in my grandmother falling from her bed and breaking her hip. When my family went to see her for her birthday we were met with dirty looks and rudeness from the nurses on the 3rd floor. Be prepared to be surrounded by sadness and depression at this failure of a hospital. Fly to Edmonton before you check in here

I went in tonight with a heaviness on my chest and a extreme anxiety attack that wouldn’t go away.. I was dizzy, scared, my body tingled all over and it was one of the worst ones I ever had. The doctor made me feel heard, the nurse was so kind and reassuring and even ordered me a ecg when they probably already knew I didn’t really need one. But to make sure I felt safe and to help ease my anxiety they really went above and beyond to help me get the ease I was wishing for. Made me feel genuinely cared for right from triage to nurse to doctor back to nurse to doctor! It was super busy tonight as well.. amazing job! This is why I love my town , the amazing people in it. Thank you doctors and nurses and all the staff at the hospital for making my night a little less stressful and more enjoyable.
