These people should be ashamed treating people they rent to like they have no options other than what they scrap together. The people they hire its either they are too nice to work for these people and get taken advantage of or they are incompetent. If I were to tell anyone stay away from them and avoid the harassment of trying to get them to do anything.

things have been a downhill slope for this group, their unwillingness to fix issues unless people who live in the home move out.
Taking pictures of peoples property has come to my attention as well, not wanting to jump to conclusions I watched as a lady went behind the house and started taking pictures of everything this guy owned.
Breach of privacy is another big issue I just don't feel they respect the people who rent from them...

As it stands I have visited a number of people who have rented with caribou realty I notice the farther they live from the main office the less they pay attention to their complaints, mold, unfixed walls, flooding, water damage, broken driveways.

I am interested if anyone else is having these sorts of issues it cant be legal for them to not take care of the buildings they are looking after. say someone pays 900$ how much of that should be put into fixing things before they turn into big issues as it stands Caribou realty may be brought to questioning on how they could let other peoples investments fall into dis repair?

Are they planning to let them fall into disrepair pocket the money and when the original owner cant afford to fix it due to false reports saying nothings wrong with the building. They may just buy the property back cheaper and then they can just keep 100% of the money renting the building.

Who knows if this is true but it just sounds like they are not doing a good job.

Do NOT go through this realtor EVER! I've had plumbing issues for over a year and a half, tried to be very patient because they worked out a deal with me for cheaper rent. I tried to work with the realtor and their contractors to resolve the issue, but to this day the problem still persists and sewage from other units comes up my drains. The realtor wanted to relocate me initially upon discovery of the problem over a year ago, but never once offered to pay the reconnect costs or anything to compensate for their mistake of renting me a rental unit that was not in proper working condition according to the tenancy act.

They pretty much told me it wasn't their problem because I chose to stay there. Their contractors also left me hanging for many days rescheduling appointments because they couldn't make it. if it wasn't that, they always showed up late or didn't show or call at all. then there are the answering machine messages that I couldn't get through because the contractor's voicemail is full all the time.

This isn't even the whole story, but I'm sure you get the idea of the situation. Sewage spewing up plumbing for over a year is simply put, unacceptable and illegal, but they're handling it in such a way that it legally looks like they're trying to resolve the issue.

On another note they still to this day don't accept interact payment or e-transfers for payments. This makes it very convenient for persons with disabilities (wheelchair accessibility, etc.). You would think for being a realtor that's been around so many years they would be with the times.

The attached pictures don't do it justice. The sinks have overflowed too. You have been duly warned. Steer clear.

Everything was great for the first month or two but came closer to the end of our rent with them and that’s when everything went sideways. Yes we had forgotten a few small items. But the land lord Linda had told us we left the house a disaster. Which was false cause we did clean and the cleaner aswell that works there had told us we weren’t supposed to be cleaning as it was her job to clean out the apartments. So fast forward a few weeks were sitting wondering were are damage deposit was and we called back all to be told that we aren’t getting it back which I found was odd because the sore that fell apart in the room would’ve been classified under wear and tear but she tried telling me otherwise because I am younger and this was our first rental we had so I had a feeling it was gonna be a hastle right off the bat but because we had nowhere to go. So we called back again and loan behold she says that she forgot to mention she has the rest of our damage deposit so she obviously was gonna try to keep it highly would recommend not going through this company they are slum lords and the apartments aren’t even taken care of nicely the walls were peeling in the bathrooms from moisture the windows would freeze shut in the winter there’s no air vents or fans in the bathroom. Everytime we’d shower there would be yellow stains that would build up in the bathroom it was disgusting I’d steer clear away from renting through this company

False promises, horrible customer service treating their tenants like they're lower class, horrible company. Literally moved to Ontario because of them.

Also trying to delete my review, great business guys! This business acts more like an organized criminal enterprise than a realtor.

Terrible service, no follow through on maintenance. This company will move you into a dirty apartment, then gauge you for all your damage deposit even if you're a good, clean tenant.

Never got calls back. Even after filling out application and promised calls back. Was told to keep calling but nothing from the property managers. Called every day for almost 2 weeks and nothing. I gave up after that.

Very unprofessional and extremely rude. I do not reccomend this buisness to anyone.
They do not care about their tenants and will find every reason to keep damage deposits.

I HAVE NOT FOUND MY 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT IN QUESNEL UPLAND AND WITH A BELCONY OUTSIDE BY APRIL 1st, 2021 in the LARK AVENUE AREA NO REPLY YET OR RESPONDS, STILL WAITING.
