What an exquisite gem this is ! A true labor of love of the founders: David Peters & Dr. Ralph Thomas who have chronicled the history and legacy of Blacks in St. John, New Brunswick. (1700s to 2025). In this small-but-mighty collection of knowledge and artifacts, the fortitude and contributions of people of African descent are recognized.

This is located inside Brunswick Square. We just happened to stumble across it after walking through the Old City Market and ended up in a mostly empty 3 story mall. There should really be a sign outside Brunswick Square as well as when you're existing the market from inside. This is a gem for someone who seeks out Black History when traveling. It's within walking distance from the cruise port. I did a quick video because I knew we would not make it back in time to explore more.

The google images of Saint John city in NB, CA is very old and not updated in fact it is many years older than what the city is like.

This is a must stop when you are visiting the area. The staff is unbelievably knowledgeable and very friendly.
