Used to be good but unfortunately they no longer put new bins out every day and just top up a few with a handful of new items. Employees blame a lack of donations but they have a giant warehouse full of stuff… makes me wonder where our donations actually go?

What a great place to have access to! Everything is $1 or less, how can you possibly beat that You have to take your time and hunt through the bins which are not organized but you can find amazing clothes, house linens, books and toys for $1 or less with your money going to help your community, love this place!

BEST THRIFT STORE IVE EVER BEEN TO!! Everything's $1 I've found lululemon, genuine leather belts, wrangler jeans, nice shoes, gorgeous cardigans, nice dresses and dress shirts. Genuinely deserves beyond 5 stars. The staff were nice and friendly, they offer a card which you can get free clothing if you buy from them a few times (I don't remember the specifics) I don't live in Calgary but every time I visit I make some time to stop in and have a look, never left without a bag full 😆 I DEFINITELY reccomend!

We have gone here for years, the items and cleanliness has gone down hill - the donation area is filthy and as a result so are all the clothes. 90% of what is now put out for purchase is 1 step from the landfill.

What we see: Staff sets aside items for friends to locate upon opening, items are taken during checkout or from your buggy, staff treats customers poorly.

They say they want feedback - well had they taken our many feedbacks - they would have put in a washroom when they created a new location a year ago, they wouldnt have removed the shoes and handbags and they would create bins for linens etc. making our shopping experience worthwhile. What they forget is that we ARE shopping - for friends, children grandparents - so show a bit of respect and act like you are running a business that values their customers.

Sorry - none of these things are for the customer - as a result what used to be a packed location is poorly attended.

Staff are very friendly. Shoppers were respectful to each other and great pricing for items. However, you will have to dig deep into the bins as most of the items are worn out.

Edited July 2024: 2 hrs ago I gave More Store 5 stars but I do agree with several of the reviewers. Quality has gone downhill! Only of one of the newer employees is great some of the older ones and newer ones are rude and they don’t even care when you give them back ripped clothes and I have even found a bedsheet with blood and other disgusting stains. One time they had one sewing project still with the sewing pins and needles and they didn’t even apologized for that huge mistake! I’m not shopping as often as I sued to before. Bring back good quality items out of respect for your customers! Why bring clothes that are ready to the landfill!? With stains, rips and even biological waste (aka blood?!) I will take pictures whenever I find items like it and hopefully the stakeholders and management team take notice. Other Wins are selling dresses and other newer items for 20 to 200 dollars! Not fair to want to see la dress that is not even a designer brand for 200 dollars! I found d a couple of stores selling items at absurd prices for a thrift shop. The locations were MacLeod and Fisher Street. I hope to give back Wins More Store a 5 stars review again!

Not sure why people gives this store such a low score and claims that this store is expensive. Either they are mistaken because at this Wins store everything is only $1.00 for the first 100 items and price reduces to .75 Cents EA and .50 cents EA when is over 250items I believe.
Yes, lots and lots of effort to look for things as clothing are in large bins. Shoes are I. Racks though 🙂
I have found a few gems in here and most of them brand new.
Yes, it can get a bit busy so West mask and bring your hand sanitizer although the store provides hand sanitizer and encourages the use of face masks. A sales person did mentioned that people arrived right before opening and it can get busy because each day they bring new items. Worth the trip. Be patient, don’t have high expectations! Sometimes you will gems and other times just average items 🙂
It a place to enjoy if you like thrusting of course 🙂

Omg everything is 1.00 up to a hundred pieces, then lower prices the more you purchase. Bins have really good selection. I ended up with 14 pieces that trip .can't wait to go back. Store is clean, a bit small but has wonderful staff and it's not crowded. A hidden gem. handicap parking on-site room inside for carts so assuming a wheelchair or walker would be able to navigate the aisles.

Nope, nope, nope. Used to be great when they first opened but it’s like they’ve given up. They advertise that they change all the bins out every day, but employees have told us (and it’s apparent if you’re a regular) that they put out no more than 4 new bins each day - and for months now it’s been obvious that they don’t put new items out most Saturdays.

Also, employees get to budge in line ahead of customers waiting to pay.

Skip this place and head to the Goodwill bins when they open… new items every few minutes.
