I went to Moorelands many years as a kid maybe like 5 years? Including ACE and SALT. And they were some of the best summers of my life. Food is amazing counselors are amazing. The whole camping/cottaging experience was fantastic and beautiful. The nature of the island and scenery is one of a kind and incredibly enriching. The lake is clean and refreshing the wide array of Maps(activities) is just crazy and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. I’d HIGHLY recommend sending your kids here and if I ever have my own someday I will 100% be sending them here aswell. Thank you for the amazing experience, I’ll never forget ❤️

I love this place a lot, but this year was just insane. I and my mother were waiting for two and a half months to get a answer back to see if I got in. They kept sending those emails when they said “more spots left” or whatever. So when they never emailed back saying if we got in or not, my mother had to email them two times to see what was wrong. A day goes by and they email back saying that no more spots were left and that we should have emailed them in July or something. Like, what do you mean We emailed because you guys wouldn’t stop sending “spots left! Spots left!” And now there’s no more spots I’m pretty upset. This summer has been so boring and depressing, and then getting that email, just made it way worst. Now I can never go again because I’m gonna be over the age limit… This was my favorite camp, unbelievable.

Moorelands is simply great. Creates opportunities for kids to experience camping, nature and swimming. But more importantly, developing life skills such as teamwork, communication, confidence and leadership. The counsellors take an interest in the kids and act as positive role models. Wish there was more funding for Moorelands so more kids can benefit!

Staff and Management at this camp are horrendous!! 😡 Never bringing my child here again!
They advertise "transforming lives"

they do nothing to help children and damage their self esteem. They treat parents like garbage!

I went to moorelands camp as a kid, did CIT1 CIT2 programs, I loved the canoe trips, and the swimming programs which during the years I went there, I had all my swimming badges.inwas always scared to dive off the back dock to the sunken boat (queen Mary) I believe it was called I always enjoyed the hike to the cit cabins through the woods., The side beach was always nice by the main office just to hide and have alone time until the siren goes off cause people can't find you lol. Would love to visit after the pandemic ends and see where the only place as a kid and teenager made me happy.

Would be nice if there was an online yearbook off all the years and the kids that went I had so many awards on awards night.

Moorelands is an Amzaing Place for kids to go and learn about different ways on how to be positive build teamwork and learn manners,there after school program and daycamp staff are very friendly and responsible
