I do enjoy the mission thrift store but I do find this one to be my least favourite only because there seems to be a lot of picked over items which are usually priced higher than in Calgary. I haven’t been able to score and deals at this location because a lot of the product is picked thru and used beyond what I think should be sold. The staff here don’t seem to acknowledge you and it’s very busy making it hard to shop plus the hours close so early so I don’t get a chance to come in after work. Overall it’s ok but parking is a huge problem here not a lot of room.

I love visiting this thrift store! I always find something perfect for the house, sports, the yard, for me or my kids! Great donations. There is always a gem and always practical finds at great prices! Keep up the good work

Welcoming smiles from volunteers and staff, bright and clean...decent inventory and parking no trouble...also found an adorable coffee mug for 53 cents!

They definitely get more donations than other thrift stores… but the prices are insane on certain things. Staff are also inattentive - when I wanted something out of the display case, I asked someone at the front to send someone with keys. Waited 10 minutes, nobody came, went back to the front to ask again and on that short frame of time they opened the case for someone else and sold them the exact item I had waited 10 minutes for. Extremely frustrating. Makes me not want to return, I’m not into wasting my time waiting to be permitted to buy something.

This is a religious charity whose stated mission- on their website- is the production of religious propaganda and indoctrination- with an emphasis on the indoctrination of children.

I forgot my wallet at the store and before I had even noticed it was gone a staff member, maybe manager, dropped it off at my door in the morning (must’ve checked my license for my address). That is not even the first time something like that has happened with the store, because I am very forgetful. The staff are kind, personable and go the extra mile. Thank you to mission thrift store staff, you make shopping there enjoyable.
