I was in search of a very rare large-sized MTB full-face POC orange downhill helmet and hit dead ends all around Canadian vendors with low inventory and GOOGLE helped me find McCoo’s where their website allowed me to place an order. When I checked out I couldn’t believe I found THE HELMET in MY SIZE and called the retail shop to ask if the helmet was really on hand and in stock to ship and the staff handled the inquiry like I was right in front of them in person. I had asked what the delivery date would be and they asked for my phone number calling me back quickly to discuss logistics. There were emails with updates about the order and no part of the transaction felt like a BOT was on the other end. Special thanks to Harry for the communication and care…RIDE ON McCoo’s!

McCoo’s is a beyond five star local retailer. I was looking for a new pair of ski goggles and decided to give them a visit after reading some strong reviews on their goggle selection and service. Those reviews are spot on - Ollie spent about a half hour with me reviewing features and trying on options. I was very happy with my purchase of Oakley Flight Deck frame and lenses and planned to McCoo’s during a return trip to Whistler.

Unfortunately, due to carelessly carrying too many kids skis too close to my face, I accidentally scratched the side of my new lens only a few days after buying it. While only a cosmetic issue, I decided to ask McCoo’s what they recommended and without a thought the owner Kyle offered to provide a second lens of my choice at a very generous discount - going above and beyond anything I would have expected.

As other reviewers have commented - yes, McCoo’s is not a discount shop but their selection and willingness to support their customers goes way beyond any other retailer you’ll find in Whistler Village.

We stopped in here to find a helmet for my daughter and were so glad we did. Drew was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When we asked if they had a helmet in white, he checked his other store and was able to get it. He also gave helpful information for restaurants and skiing which we appreciated being first-time visitors to Whistler.
