I've been using these guys as my primary docs for yrs now. I'm thankful to have them but there is one doctor there back a few yrs ago that decided to "play god" and I was hrs away from death from dehydration (during the +50 heat) and because she messed with my medication without having even any respect TO TELL ME. I got really sick and was dying on my floor of organ failure from dehydration and my ex saved my life. Toda was the first dayi had to deal with her. EVEEU OTHER TIME FOR AKMOST A YR,I get refills that last at least 3 wks+....well she decided to make an appt a day early, and only for less than a wk for the next one. She also shared MY PRIVATE MEDICAL INFO WITH THE RECEPTIONIST BECAUSE THE RECEPTIONIST TOLD ME WHAT I TOLD HER. I was put in a list to NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH HER,as once again she is completely screwing me and sharing private medical info with the receptionist. She is the extremely unprofessional and a vile human being. I wish it wasn't impossible to do reviews on doctors that seem to enjoy messing up with people's lives. Because I'm not going through that BS again

I was transferred to this office due to a move. My fist intake appointment as well as fist actual doctors appointment went really well. Unfortunately the appointments after that went down hill and that is putting it lightly! I had to remind the doc to give me my script on one occasion. The same occasion I was told I would be sent for an ultrasound. That was last June but just had the ultrasound a couple months ago. And no this was not due to lack of doctors at ultrasound clinic. The ultrasound clinic only receive my paper work in November Unacceptable !! Yes it did take a little time after to get in and that was due to shortages but I understand that. I have been clean and sober for multiple years and still am! A few appointments in I was accused of relapsing due to dirty test. I had given them a list of medications I was given under another care provider ( before undergoing a procedure with a dentist ) they didn’t put the list into my file and was given to them at least three times. As well as on 2/3 separate occasions over a year I took a quarter of a muscle relaxer. I work at a very labour intensive job. It is very hard on my body and at times causes great pain. I lost my take home privileges and am still on multiple day witness due to their mishap and accusations. I was told they would retest and get to the bottom of things. But am still waiting for this to take place this started last Oct! Then was told there was a doctor/ doctors in Kelowna that if they could not get to the bottom of it in their lab they would send my file to them. Still nothing. Negligence like this can ruin people lives !! Lastly the last few appointments have been taken by a female doc in the at the clinic and the level of rudeness each time was unbelievable!! The first time trying to write it off as a one off. People have bad days, nope the next two appointments have been the same. I can not speak for every doctor at the clinic but as an over all experience it was not good at all. I will have a new doctor as of June 1 thankfully. I hope your experience will be very very different!!

Dr. Van Horn has been my doctor and she is compassionate with tons of empathy. She reviews my medications and makes the best and safest choices for me. She always listens and understands when you are ha ing a tough time. The girls at the front desk are so friendly and will do everything in their power to help you if they can even squeeze you in if it's an emergency. I can't say enough great things about this office they treat you like a person that matters where that isn't the case with other doctors in town but not at Martin Street Outreach all the doctors have so much empathy & compassion.

I have never been to a medical practice that was so unprofessional. One of the girls there started to talk about another patient to me and even mentioned his name. On many occasions I have had a telephone appt and never got a phone call back this has happened on numerous acts I don't recommend this clinic to anybody that is looking for a new doctor are health care system has gone to the toilets

I’ve been on hold for 15 minutes now, maybe the front end staff need to learn time management because in the time that I’ve waited 4 people could have booked an appointment. Not to mention one of their female “doctors” will just dismiss you and rush you through your phone appointment. Nothing like having your concerns invalidated by a doctor who shouldn’t even be a doctor maybe she should be a pharmacist that’s probably more her pace…this woman makes the female doctors look bad and should seriously consider a career change…

I asked Martin St to help me get forms done for licence. Three different times I was told three different things. They have gone out of their way to make things more difficult and Dr Friesen treated me like a criminal. Not acknowledging anything I was saying and be very standofish. So four months later and still no letter sent and I’m about to be kicked out of the place I’ve rented for 8 yrs. With everything being done I believe that a biased letter will be sent even though I passed all my tests. This is my life and Martin St instead of helping hindered the process and now I’m left staring from scratch bc I have no faith that a un bias letter won’t be sent.

Very rude MOA! Extremely dismissive and had a terrible attitude. Prescriptions have not been sent / got “lost.” Some doctors have been great but others not so much, makes you feel like a burden and a nuisance. My brother also had issues with his prescriptions not being sent when they said that they were . He is on blood pressure medication ! It’s so frustrating dealing with them .

I had to go here once for an emergence as i was left with no script at all for the weekend. I am from the coast and my pharmacy decided to take a family day without notifying me. Dr. L waited to see me even after her shift had ended and she did not have to. while talking with her she was very thorough about everything and even kept my niece entertained. Now the end of my trip to Penticton is nearing and she will once again meet me during hours that she does not normally meet anyone. just to fit me in. The girls at the desk are amazing and accommodating as well. This clinic is the very best in my opinion, and coming from Vancouver and being to countless number of clinics down there, this says a lot! Thank you all!

In Summer of 2017 I moved to Penticton to stay and managed to get Dr. Lappalainen as my family doctor. She is the best doctor I have ever had and takes the time needed to listen to your problems and work with you. She wastes no time when it comes to referrals and the girls at the front desk are just as amazing at making sure they happen. Nowadays it is very hard to find a doctor that does actually take the time to properly diagnose and not rush you out so they can get to the next patient or stay on time.
