Brilliant city park to visit. Lots of things to do and excellent location in the city. Swimming, a splash area for kids to keep cool, and concessions and picnic area on one side of O’Connell Drive and there is a quieter large playground for smaller children on the other. Interconnection between the two sides is via pedestrian tunnel under O’Connell Drive. Excellent.

The park was very clean and tidy and with lots of space for a picnic and for kids to run around and have a good time.

Easy access by gravel covered trail to the Glynmill Pond with its very tranquil setting including pigeons, ducks, swans (although I didn’t see any today), seagulls, and other bird species.

I visited here when I was going around town to find some nice sight seeing places and this was recommended to me by a local. It is indeed a nice trail to walk through. You can hear the rush of water flowing through and the serenity of the forest. The view is really nice and you can see many ducks and birds as well. Would recommend for anyone who wants to have a nice walk which doesn't take too long either.

I brought my son to see this park, where I played and swam as a kid in the 70s and 80s.
It brought back so many memories.
We went for a great walk through the trails as well.
Such a beautiful place.

Very nice walking trail. Very good environment inside the city. Can walk to the pond to see the ducks and swan. Easy to walk , not too steep. Highly recommended.
