The best golf course in southern Alberta is just 20 minutes from Lethbridge: Magrath Golf Club. Nestled in a picturesque valley, it features a stunning layout where no two holes are alike, offering a perfect mix of challenging and more forgiving holes. I also appreciate that there are no houses on the course, which enhances the golfing experience. Year after year, this remains my favorite place to play. Played Magrath golf course today for first time.. For October 1 the course was in Very good condition. The fairways were excellent very tightly cut and was a great surface to hit irons from. The greens were very smooth and fast and played like summer conditions in October. It was a windy day but I found the course to be very challenging to play. Overall the facilities including practice area were top notch and the course is a hidden gem in southern Alberta!

a great place- but the price sure have increased from last year- about $30 dollars more- while this should not be an issue as they are closer to the prices that other golf course, but because they are out of town- now you really want to go not because of the price but because of the course

Excellent golf course. Very well maintained, all levels of difficulty on the holes. They have an amazing book that you get that describes every hole. Had a great time doing 18 holes. Would definitely recommend going there. The only small downside was the mosquitoes. Bring bug spray!!

Good course. Went with some friends. The course time it 4 hours and 30 min we are not the best golfers but was constantly pressured to go faster even though we kept up with pace for the people in front of us. In the end wasn't a good experience we finished in 3 hours and 45 min. So change your course time limit if that's the case.
