Thank you Dogguides for not only training excellent service dogs but giving them to us for free. We received our first autism assistance dog in December 2016. We now have a successor dog and are thrilled with how he is fitting into our life style. Thank you for everything you do. I’m so glad that you have a new facility being built.

This is an amazing facility full of wonderful staff. Dog trainers, administration, maintenance, kitchen staff, and reception are all staff I came in contact with during my 3 weeks here. They are all patient, kind, and extremely accommodating. If you can make a donation to them, please do. The work done here helps so many people and their families in so many ways. I can't say enough good things.

Excellent. Great place. Many types of service dogs. I was lucky enough to receive a guide dog from them, his name is Hero My dog is excellent, well trained, very healthy, good natured happy dog. If you require a guide dog, or a service dog dont look any further. The staff are great, you can tell they like their jobs. I had a great experience while doing my three week training with my guide dog. Everyone is able to stay at their facility in Oakville Ontario while they are in training. They also supply all the meals. They pay for your trip there and back. There are no charges for their dogs or staying at the facility. All the money comes from donations and from the walk they have every year. On the same day in May there are 300 walks across Canada in different cities to raise money. It is called the Pet Valu Walk for Guide Dogs. Please think about making a donation or join in for a walk bring your own dog to help raise money for Dog Guides of Canada. They do not receive any money from the government nor do they get money from private medical insurance. It is all through donations. They are an awesome organization with caring people who work at their location. Please think about helping them out. They also have two open house per year. Stop in and see the great work that they do.

I foster with LFCDG and find the staffs very friendly.
They are very good with answering questions/doubts whether in person or via email.
They have mentored me pretty well over the past 1 year and made fostering easy for me.

Location wise, the place is very nicely located and easy to find (no hidden roads).
Parking is limited but there is Green P available nearby. (however, I always have got parking whenever I visited them )

Fantastic school for those needing a service dog. My go-to place since 2007. Dogs are well trained, staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the organization itself is thoroughly worth supporting.
