They recently did a full make over the the fitness centre and I’ll say that it’s exactly that! Fresh, new, well equipped and really directed toward over all health for everyone. I watched as the staff guided everyone through the new set up and did notice them talking to younger people who maybe haven’t had a lot of experience in the gym. It being new year it’s very busy right now but I would say they have really put a lot of thought and planning into this make over and it was all minutes and hours and days well spent. They honestly deserve a huge thank you from the regulars like myself. We appreciate the effort and I know everyone else will say the same

I visited Leduc Recreation Centre last weekend to see the Black Gold Rodeo. Great event, there was a fairground outside, and the Rodeo was on a converted ice rink inside the stadium.

Really impressed with the size of the centre given Leduc is a relatively small town, Rodeo was well organized, great evening's entertainment.

Leduc has always been a great facility to attend daily as it is kept clean and everyone seems very friendly. Seeing someone else smile at you first thing in the morning is always a boost and powerful motivational kick starter. Sometimes that's all it takes! Have been attending Leduc Recreation for +10 years and will continue.

Whoever oversaw and planned the gym upgrade should be held accountable.

Closed for 9 days just to open for only 1 day before closing for another day and a half. The cost of which is downloaded to the pass holders, who will not be reimbursed for the time the gym wasn’t operational.

All over the holidays too when most had time off to use the gym more than usual.

The facility has potential but the staff are pretty awful to deal with. There are nearly constant closures for the pool and steam room, you will show up and they will randomly be shut down. Then they will tell you “it’s on the website” but it’s not easy at all to find online.
The staff are so rude in some cases that it’s the reasons we are not repurchasing our 4 memberships this year. I’m sadly writing this after over 2 years of being frustrated about how much we pay for the service we get. I have noticed a common opinion in this regard as well so, I’m hoping writing a review will help change things.

Came for the family skate in the Chemco rink. Excellent staff at the front counter, had enough skate aids for beginners. Other guests were all patient and shares the ice surface. A great time.

The pool is nice but the staff sucks. Never any paper towel or soap in the change rooms. Lifeguards could do a better job making sure people follow the facility rules. Lots of people wear their dirty sandals and crocks into the locker rooms and sauna.
