My fiancee had a procedure booked here. A simple but invasive procedure to take care of a long standing issue that effects her health and quality of life.

She was informed a week before surgery that they would not be performing the surgery because "We are a small clinic and we don't have the required anesthesia to accommodate you. Have you considered going on Ozempic before having the procedure so it can be done safely? We aren't comfortable performing the procedure as it stands now."

Disgusting! The person who called her was rude and made her to feel terrible about herself. The way she is being treated is unacceptable and absolutely heartbreaking. No wonder people struggle with body image issues.

This procedure is being done to address an issue that has caused unexplained health complications. It has nothing to do with lifestyle.

Furthermore, we both booked time off work and I was flying across the country to support her during her recovery.

We have reached out to their executive team for resolution. We will NOT be back in down from this. I'm not above getting the media involved.

Shame on this business and anyone who makes patients feel like this.

Very organized, kind organization. Front staff always smiling and puts you at ease. Day surgery staff was phenomenal and very good bed side manner. When I was coming to from my procedure, the nurse (amerest- hope I spelled her name correctly) was so soft spoken. I can feel her care. My surgical team was comforting and also it me at ease. They were all phenomenal.

Amazing care! Two weeks ago, I went to the one day surgical area and every person received my husband and me with a smile and a kind care. Rachel and Kiara were super helpful and extra kind. The surgical team was so nice! A week later, Loraine followed up with my procedure and asked me how I was feeling and reminded me about my next visit with my obigyn. My only words are thank you so much for your kindness and soft manners. Congratulations to the hospital for having such a good team together! 🤩

My son was here for surgery yesterday. Apparently nothing available in Edmonton? But what a great experience! I mean it was surgery, so not fun, but everyone there right from admitting to his surgical team to his unit staff - they were ALL amazing, attentive, kind, compassionate and made his stay there so much calmer and stress free. We were never left unattended. While waiting I was 100% informed at all times as to his status, and I was so relieved that he was being cared for by such competent caring amazing staff. If your surgery is ever bumped to small town Lamont COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you all for restoring my faith in our Healthcare system.

What a great facility! I had a surgery here last week, and it has to be the best hospital experience ever. Admitting and nursing staff were efficient and kind, there was no chaos and everything is so clean!

I just had my second cataract surgery at the hospital and the staff were great. The ladies at the front desk were great at making you feel welcome and the nurses in the day ward were exceptional. Overall it was a good experience. Thank you.

I gotta say, this is the first hospital in my entire life that we experienced such warmth and care. Usually we have anxiety because bigger locations have burnt out staff and no one really seems to care about the patients' mental well being. My mom and I couldnt stop talking about how absolutely nurturing, kind and patient everyone is here.

My mom came here for day surgery yesterday. We were greeted by Andrea at the front; she was incredibly sweet and checked us in. Went forward and met Brianne, she was very thorough at making sure my mom was all prepped snd ready for the surgery, I admired her patience with us! Right before the procedure, Shannon introduced herself and made sure my mom felt safe and comfortable - really reduced her anxiety knowing that shannon will be looking after her during the procedure. Post op, I met Kierra and she was just so fun, sweet and friendly. I didnt feel shy about asking her questions because she was incredibly nonjudgemental and chill!

When we were leaving, Gwen at the front desk noticed that my mom was really dizzy and told me to get my car closer to the door and stayed with my mom until I did. She asked my mom directly if she was okay and was just so warm and kind.

We cant even express into words how incredible all these 5 ladies are. All of them had such an important role to play and they did absolutely amazing! Thank you guys for taking such great care of my mom 🥰
