This library is huge, but makes small niches for a cozy feel. There is a fireplace and magazine area, and games and puzzles! The librarians are always friendly and thoroughly helpful!

Really clean and nice space to study or read a book! It’s usually quite peaceful but there’s also a quiet room in case it gets busy. The librarians are really sweet and accommodating. There’s also outlets everywhere and plenty of seating

The bathrooms are always clean. It's the only public bathroom in "downtown Ladner". lol.

The libraries are a great "3rd space", where you're not expected/encouraged to spend a single cent.

The parking lot is always full during weekday mornings due to the activities, but there's always a lot of street parking.

I have a VPL, BPL, & RPL card as well, because why not? "if it's free it's for me". But the FVRL often has the material that I'm looking to borrow. The Ironwood library is close enough if not, and I'm regularly in the Fraserview library's area.

Nice, quiet, and roomy library with plenty of computers and a nice selection of all sorts of books. The kids section is particularly great. Its connected to the Fraser Valley Public Library system so the selection of books available is robust. An awesome library for all ages.

I love this cosy little branch. It has a great collection of inviting books, CDs, DVDs magazines, and so on. It is one of the best "third spaces" in Ladner, for sure, the perfect place to hang out and read curled up on the couch or in a chair on a rainy afternoon, or to bring your little kids for activities and child-friendly classes. They have bird-watching kits and bat-tracking kits and all kinds of cool stuff like that, including Science World on the Road sessions.

My only knocks on this place are a) the invariably unfriendly staff who often are standing with their backs turned to the public chatting amongst themselves and look annoyed if you have a question like how to log on to the wi-fi, and who have no interest at all in interacting in a friendly way. And b) the loud levels of noise that patrons are allowed to make, like going at full volume on their laptops or their phones for long stretches, which can be heard across the entire library and are very disruptive but none of the staff ever seems to do anything about.

Nice, well lit library with both silent study and common areas. There is a small pirate ship/playground for kids, making it a welcoming place for all ages.
