This place is amazing. I am without support, and I have nerve damage. It only took 1-2 days before they had a spot for her
🙂 My daughter was able to spend a day with them while I was able to relax and do some resting for my sore leg. I called a few times to check on her, each time I could hear her babbling away and giggling. They never complained or said anything negative, if anything they were very comforting when I felt nervous about being away from her. I recommend this place to anyone who is in need of help!

I took my daughter there a little over two years ago and she still talks about it happily and asks to go back.
I was in desperate need of getting to my own medical appointments, dealing with a miscarriage and all that and didn’t want my girl to be witness or to hear anything about it . I was losing weight rapidly and needed to find out the cause as well. There was just a lot going on . And I was able to get her in . And they allowed me to do a walk through showed me the emergency exits cause it was really my first time leaving her anywhere:
I’m a single mother and had no one to go to at that time. They came through. She could have stayed longer but Lucklh I got everything done I needed to and picked her up earlier than expected.
She wanted to stay , but I knew if there was no purpose for her to be there that I should take her so other ppl who would need the help could use it .

I have heard some ppl will use it for silly reasons and that’s wrong it’s a place for family’s in need of the help.

So it’s an amazing place but please only use of needed . Because there are ppl that get turned down when they actually really need it . Coxoxo thank you guys for helping me during my need.

I like the purpose they are serving. They help people who are going through personal and financial crises. I usually visit this place to donate stuff that I no longer need. I highly recommend everyone to donate their kids stuff to this place as they are non-profit and does wonderful job. I wish I can volunteer there but it’s so hard with kids and job. I am hoping to donate more and asking friends to donate at this place too.

i loved this place when i was younger i was never a very social kid but even then i still remember having so much fun and not wanting to leave, it felt like such a safe place. i remember the last time i went there,, i was getting to old to keep going there and my mom telling me that one day i could volunteer, definitely going to bring it up to her again to see if i can sometime soon 🙂

I needed help a week ago and I called kidskottage, there was no space available. Then the lady I spoke to later called me back and said she felt like I was really desperate for help and that she re-organized the sleeping arrangements so to create a space for my son and I almost cried on the phone. I was in soo much in need of help with the kids, and I will never thank them enough for what they did for me. An amazing place and very clean. Upon picking up my son, I could tell he had been well taken care of. Again thanks so much to all the staff at kidskottage.

I desperately needed help with my 2 young daughers recently. I was soooo overwhelmed and needed a break. Kids Kottage came to the rescue and took my girls for a couple days so I could recharge and get a little break. As a single mom with no close friends or family in Edmonton, it meant the world to me to have that support. I tear up when I think about it.

I was, at first, worried and reluctant to leave my kids there, but I know they were in good hands. I called to check on the girls several times and each time I was greeted with a warm voice telling me my girls were doing good.
