I cannot say enough about the Marjorie Snowden Willoughby hospice home. The home is so well run, clean and beautiful. Primarily occupied by the most dedicated and precious professional and volunteer people I have ever had the fortune to meet. Special appreciation to the botanical fairy godmother who is seen at twilight tending the gardens.

Best experience ever!! Really wish all hospices could provide the level of compassion and care that the Marjorie Willoughby Hospice provided! They set the bar very high… which is maybe why our next hospice experience was so awful. Expectations of compassion, care and professionalism were unable to be met elsewhere unfortunately and appear to be perceived as an unrealistic expectation of mine. Hopefully next respite stay my father will be back in Kamloops and not Vernon.

I can't say enough good things about the very special, caring and compassionate people that work here. My Mother was treated so well and with such respect and dignity, we knew she was in the place she was supposed to be.

While for the obvious reasons I hope no one ever has to go here, if you do it's a wonderful place. The staff are beyond amazing. The fresh baking is perfect when you're grieving. The view is breathtaking, as are the gardens. Above all it makes the whole process easier. I can't imagine how much harder losing my dad would have been without knowing he was looked after 24/7 by such wonderful people.
