I gifted my boyfriend with the host your own radio show. I had bought the gift prior to the pandemic, and there was a delay in booking to do the show. Finally, I got a response back from the lovely Felicia. She was responsive and quick to get everything sorted/organized. When my boyfriend and I went to the jazz station, we were greeted by Felicia and then introduced to Glenn (producer). He walked us through the steps of the show, and everything went smoothly. After we recorded the show, both Felicia and Glenn gave us a tour of the station, and then we met Raina Hersh (one of the hosts of JAZZFM.91). Prior to leaving, Felicia gifted us with some JAZZFM.91 swag and made our visit even more memorable. Thanks again, JAZZFM.91!

School fieldtrip which turned out to be very well organized, David was an engaging host! This is a radio station that plays ONLY jazz music and relies on donations for their survival as they are a charity. Everyone we met was so friendly and lovely!

This is hands-down, and without exaggeration, probably one of the best jazz stations in the world today. I love jazz and I love this station. I travel extensively throughout the world and I am always trying to find a solid local jazz station in whatever geography I am currently in. Whether in Chicago, New Orleans, Krakow, London, Sydney, etc. ... I keep coming back to this station as my “go-to” for Jazz music. I have listened to many excellent streaming jazz radio stations, but Jazz FM 91 trumps them all. If you’re serious about Jazz music, then this station needs to be at the top of your list.

My cousin introduced me to this station while at Princess Margaret Hospital for…well you know. It’s been the soundtrack of my life ever since. The lack of culture in Toronto is buoyed out of said nonsense from this apolitical, and wonderful station called Jazz FM. Thank you forever.

As part of JazzFM's 'Host Your Own Radio Show,' my son was able to experience the opportunity of being an on-air host and showcase his playlist for his show broadcast earlier this year. Depending on the level of your donation it provides either a half-hour or full-hour show. He was accompanied by award winning producer Glenn Crosse who made it a relaxing and fun time. Glenn's ability to edit is phenomenal to witness. The HYORS also affords you a tour of JazzFM's studios meet the wonderful volunteers and by chance on-air personality Brad Barker. A great gift idea and one that provides mutual benefit for listeners and JazzFM operations. Located in Liberty Village.

Usually always good, some quirky selections I find, but to each his/her own.
They are usually up and coming covers, local artists. An eclectic mix of genres, styles, eras and very good hosts. Bravo

So, I arrived last night from Italy. I'm here in Toronto for the first time in my life and what could possibly be the first thing I want to see? The CN tower? The Aquarium? Or maybe the Niagara Falls? No way.. I'm going to see the Jazz FM91 Radio station. I listen to it every single morning from a distant and faraway galaxy called Sardinia. I hope they would let me get a glimpse inside and maybe say "ciao" (=hi) on air to everyone in Italy.
