I had the absolute pleasure over recent months to volunteer with the Humane Society (Hastings Prince Edward) as a photographer. While time constraints and other commitments brought that sweet chapter to a close, the memories and experience will stay with me forever. The dedicated staff, fellow volunteers, and of course, all the beautiful animals… are simply amazing! I highly recommend their animal services or to volunteer if you have a chance – you won’t be sorry!

I had a wonderful experience adopting my dog Cora. Every staff member I interacted with was wonderful, especially the young man who would bring Cora to me when I came for visits before taking her home. Thanks to Steve as well for helping me through the process. Now that Cora has joined my family, she is one happy dog and we are very happy with such a beautiful, playful, gentle addition to our home, and I have these fine folks to thank for that.

The 2 ladies at the front counter staff are very, rude and abrupt. Not overly helpful, or knowledgeable, gives out wrong information. Have tried dealing with them over the years always get the same response. Highly don’t recommend them!!

Well look at that...greed is everywhere in the Veterinary department ..unless your spending an arm an a leg at animal hospitals and humane societies ...they wont help you at all,and theyre customer service is so pathetic ..that instead of being able to give some advice on other possibilties ,they just hang up on you ...

Currently fostering a cute rabbit named Papaya with the humane society! Communication is easy and you can see that they care about the animals. Papaya is available for adoption 🙂

Lots of cats and dogs, eagerly waiting to get out of the enclosure and be with a loving family. If you can, adopt one. The world needs more people like us. If you can't then reach out to the lovely staff and ask what you can donate.
