Non stop construction. Apparently, little to no regard for neighbourhood. Board of directors seem to me to out of touch with neighborhood. Self consumed agenda. I wish they cared more about the neighbors and neighborhood.

Perhaps they have completely lost track of coop spirit.

“Co-op living is unique to all other forms of housing because it represents a community living within a community.” Really? In my opinion, not Hugh Garner.

** updated February 17th, 2023…. I note that their new mission statement now reads: “Hugh Garner housing cooperative provides through democratic participation of its diverse membership, environmentally sustainable, affordable and safe cooperative housing”. Wow, community is gone! Perhaps that explains a lot. (Personally I feel it is misguiding, but thats only my humble opinion! Lol)

Never ending construction… noise, dust, heavy equipment running at a snail’s pace. Apparently no empathy for neighbours….. do not even provide notice of projects.

Great community! Well managed coop building that is consistently maintained to high standards. NIMBY queen that lives in the adjacent townhouses needs to find something real to complain about!

My home : I love it . Great Building Great Green Roof. Management is DESPICABLE !!
They created environment of INTRIGUES HATE SPYING TELLING ON EACH OTHER RUMORS GOSSIPS Residents AFRAID OF Ashley Winders and especially Karen Hurley who does BACKSTABBING WITH A CINDERELLA SMILE.!! Divide and rain ! Ashley Winders is the Office Manager. Total lair

It was clean with a great rooftop patio..big party room that can be reserved and a big laundry room. Being co-op,they have a 10 yr. Waiting list so good luck!
