What I love about this place is they treat people with so much respect
I know when you need to utilize their services that you can get a little down but they NEVER treat you that way!!!

Just remember to pay it forward once you start to get a little more on your feet....

You can only go once a month. They only supply you with enough food to last a week.
The staff are friendly but they're hours don't make sense. They close at 4 and aren't open on weekends which gives people who work no way of taking advantage of the service.
But because I work full time doesn't mean I can afford groceries in this 3 income household economy. So I was pretty disappointed to find out I couldn't go to this food bank at all because of my job that still doesn't pay me enough to get by in this world.... It's tragic really... That the people working to keep a roof over their heads can't get food support because having a job is considered "well off" but all my money goes to rent and I'm left starving...

As much as I appreciate help when I need it, I have a severe GLUTEN ALLERGY. It is on my file, always on the card and every single time I have gone they always give me all GLUTEN-FULL noodles bread etc. I also notice that other people that appear to be new to Canada get much nicer vegetables and foods then I have ever gotten. I am grateful but I also see how they discriminate. So many other people I know say the same thing.
