I was here for a conference and I was very impressed by the space! There are rooms for all purposes and everything is laid out really well. It's clear that a lot of thought and care goes into everything done at this church! I only heard great things about it from a pastor who served there for many years; it sounds like an amazing community, pastoral team, and heart for the city is present here. Definitely recommend!

While not attending church, I was there for a Faith, Fundraising Symposium. I was impressed with the layout and accessibility, but especially impressed with the staff and volunteers from Hope City Church to ensure that I was greeted by the church and then kindly brought to the event volunteers and then graciously introduced me to the event team. They didn't merely point me in the direction but walked with me to them, engaging in welcoming dialogue the entire time. Thank you!

From the very first moment I stepped into Hope City Church, Terwilliger, I was completely captivated – love at first sight! We settled into the Millwoods branch afterward, and there's been no turning back since! I’m amazed by how intentional and passionate they are, especially with the Kids' Ministry and Youth Ministry. My kids are absolutely in love with church now!

The worship here is just on a different level – powerful and soul-lifting! From the prayers during Engage, the inspiring messages, to the various programs tailored for people in different walks of life and faith, it’s truly a place where we felt at home from day one. Even though we've been here for less than a year, it already feels like we've been part of this beautiful community forever.

If you're searching for a home church, Hope City Church is where you belong!

It’s a large church so you definitely get lost in the crowd. Entering the church from any of its side entrances can also get you lost. They have children’s areas, café, welcome room for new or visiting people, and an info desk. So, if you need anything it’s easy to find. But, it’s going to take a while to get aquatinted with anyone.

Music is good. They offer earplugs at the info desk. Pastor is stereotypical with coloured glasses and shoes like all big church pastors these days but his messages seem good - so far I’ve been to 3. They have a lot of groups to get involved with and you can find almost all info on their website.

First time a this church in sw location we weren't welcomed but we were stared at like we walked into a private club never been to a church without a pastor sharing the word of God but then a screen turned on I guess from another church in another location the message of Abraham and the connection with christ was dead on he preached an amazing sermon afterwards someone decided it was good bumping elbows try to give a message of they didn't really want us there so I praised my lord Jesus for the spirit of God to start waking up the spirt in that location for it grieved our spirits to see how far things have gotten in some of our communities I pray for revival for those that are his I pray the be filled with the spirit of truth 🙏

I’ve been to a lot of bad churches but this place takes the cake. They truly don’t care about people. I walked into this church May 21 2023 crying my eyes out. I had just been told my father was going to die and I needed something anything because I was so beyond lost. I had a lady bring me into the nursery/breast feeding room and she sat with me and let me cry. She prayed for me. She promised me she would call me back but she never did. I never heard a word again. My dad died May 27 2023. It would have been nice to not face things alone. All this church taught me was Christian’s don’t care. They only care when it’s about them. I did try to reach out after and never got a response back. Since my dad has died I have completely turned my back on all churches and all Christian’s. I will never step foot in any church again and it’s because of this single church.
