Basement waterproofing was a job we had been avoiding for awhile. As soon as we met Dave, he put our minds at ease and made us feel comfortable with all of our decisions, was thorough with his explanations and flexible when we changed our original plan. Dave and his team were efficient, friendly and professional. We are super pleased that we can now do other outside work without having to worry about a wet basement. On top of that, they left our property looking better than when they arrived with the added piece of mind that everything is now working properly. After a heavy rain in March that melted February's snow accumulation, some water seeped into our unfinished basement. A call to H & N Basement Worx resulted in Dave coming to make a thorough assessment of the problem. He was able to find the source of the water leakage from a crack in the poured concrete foundation, and took time to explain how it could be repaired and to answer our questions. A detailed written proposal was sent promptly. The following week, Dave came back to do the job of preparing, injecting and covering the crack. We were impressed with his expertise and skills, and with the pride he takes in his work. The professional repair included a dust-free technique, careful and neat restoration of the insulation and vapour barrier and meticulous clean-up. High praise for this business!

I had an excellent experience dealing with Dave from H&N Basement Worx. Dave replaced my old primary sump pump and installed a battery backup system. What I liked most when dealing with them was their honest approach. If I ever have an issue with my foundation or water penetration, they're the only company I will deal with. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend H&N Basement Worx due to their expertise and honesty. I had several contractors quote me for the same work for thousands when in reality only cost me a fraction of that. Unlike those other contactors he actually inspected the inside to access the situation and not just dig up my entire backyard to fix the problem.

Excellent service from Dave and Brad. I had an aging sump pump replaced by H&N Basement Worx in July of 2024. The initial communication with Dave was outstanding with a quote, the expected time the replacement would happen, along with details about the new Liberty sump pump model. Brad, who replaced my sump pump was very friendly and went above and beyond my expectations. Brad took the time to explain everything, fix an unrelated issue with my backup system (along with testing it), and end the replacement service with a walk around my property with a few suggestions on property grading. I highly recommend H&N Basement Worx!
