Fun and adventurous experience that takes you to breathtaking views! I did not do the tour. There is a $10 fee to make the walk to see the lighthouse close up. Your trip will need to be planned low tide as the path to the lighthouse is impassable during high tide. The footing can be tricky and would suggest this passage to someone with balance or equilibrium issues. There are approx 312 steep stairs there and back that needs to be transversed to complete the trip. A must do while visiting the island. The gift shop that is closer to the middle of the island has photos by a local that is magnificent!! Beautiful sunrise photos and also winter photos that are breath taking!

Great classic lighthouse and well worth your time if you are in the area. Note you can only reach this lighthouse at low tide (maybe +/- 3 hours of it). Even at low tide it's a bit of a challenge to get there. Multiple sets of very steep stairs and some slippery rocks. Very doable but if you have mobility issues keep that in mind. It's $10 cash only per person to go to the lighthouse and an extra 10 to go up in it, at least as of July 2025

Highlight of our stay on Campobello. Make sure you check the tide schedule and arrive 2 hrs before lowest tide so you can maximize your time in the area. We spent about an hour watching several Minke whales hunting around the harbour, and also spotted Grey seals, mink, crabs.
It costs $10/person, well worth it.

Highlight of my trip to Campobello. Be sure to get there during low tide. The extra $10 to take the tour to the top of the lighthouse was well worth it.

I went here three times. Once midday when it was very cold and gloomy out. The other two times at sunrise and sunset. I have to say I got teary watching the sunrise. What a beautiful place to be blessed seeing the sun coming up over the horizon. Each time special in it’s own way.
