Le lieu en lui-même est déjà improbable ... rien de glamour ! Le motel est en bord de route et semble abandonné. Accueil désastreux... nous sommes arrivés une première fois et avons trouvé le bureau nommé « accueil » (on croit rêver) fermé. Sommes revenus deux heures après et toujours personne. Avons dû téléphoner. Un type nous dit de prendre une clé dans le tiroir d’une vieille boîte en bois sur le parking. Quant à la chambre. Que dire ... une odeur pestilentielle de tabac froid mêlée à la moquette crasseuse, soit-disant une kitchenette qui se résume en fait à un frigo bringuebalant et un micro ondes mais pas de couverts, ni verres, ni tasses...difficile d’imagi y manger, le tout pour un prix exorbitant au vu du service inexistant. Bref, l’endroit est à fuir sauf si vous voulez y tourner un nouveau film d’horreur !

Clean room, front end staff were excellent and certainly very accommodating and friendly. Only thing on a critical view point was the heater cover was missing and took some time to figure out how to even make it work. Bed was comfortable and had two selections for pillows type. Would recommend. Nicely cleaned room. Access to parking was great.

Excellent! Room was very clean. Heater worked perfectly. Only downside was that there was no stopper for the bathtub. Would recommend!

Great little Inn. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but my room seemed to have been newly renovated and the couple that runs it are so kind. Would stay here again.

Fast and friendly service. The rooms are quiet. The beds comfortable. The heater worked well but the room was a bit cool on arrival. Not really a fault. The bathroom was clean and the fridge worked. Flat screen TV was a bonus. Pretty much what you would expect for the price paid. I would stay here again if I ever come back to Mayerthorpe.

Although it appeared to be clean there was an alarming amount of big black spiders. I understand seeing one or two in the bathtub because let’s be honest we all have a spider or two in ours tubs but I seen these black spiders in three different places in the room (can’t be same spider being seen) and also the second night we were there the toilet in my room was plugged.

I've found Haven Inn to be a good place to stay, I'm doing some work in the area and will be here for a couple nights more. The rooms are a good size, but not too big. It's clean and in good repair. I need to have space for my mobile office and needed a little more table space for my printer/scanner and they went out of their way to make sure I got what I need. I would definitely stay here again. It's been quiet and has strong wifi in my room.
