I had a fantastic experience at ReStore thanks to Anne!
She went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed and was incredibly knowledgeable about the inventory. Her friendly attitude and willingness to answer all my questions made the visit easy and enjoyable. It's rare to come across customer service this genuine and helpful.
Thank you, Anne, for your outstanding support—you’re a true asset to ReStore!

volunteers and staff are friendly. They are the only reason for the five stars. They have a lot of rules to follow and often have to face grouchy customers. I think the business should allow them more flexibility when dealing with customers. Also, it is not lost on me that I use the term business here. Last, pretty good variety overall considering the location

Prices very expensive! I found the same lamp cheaper online by 20 bucks!! I get its for charity but 140 for a donated used tiny pressure washer that won't clean your deck! I understand why it's so full right now!

Staff are friendly. Product is organized. I walked in there again today and saw some very nice looking sheds so I walked over to them to see. A staff member came up to us and I figured I would get some strong sales pitch but that was not the case. He was very friendly and seemed to genuinely want to give me information pertinent to the sheds and that is all. Told me where they were built (by students for a grade) and if I was interested - the best way to get it home. Felt very comfortable. I constantly go to this business any time I need to fix something around the house. Some times you need to go a lot to check to see if they have what you are looking for but it's worth it!

My wife and I have shopped here for years. With the recent new management it sucks. Some items are cheaper at Rona brand new. Who sells a used old fashioned lightbulb for a dollar if you can get an LED FOR $1,50 at the dollartree?
They sell paint that they knew was previously frozen. I said then it’s good for the garbage. They rolled their eyes and sold it, and can’t be returned.
They have no clue how to price items. It used to be half price of the retail price for a new item. Now they sell it for full price and obviously used. I guess we have to wait until management changes again, which fortunately is often.
I know contractors and landlords who now bring their stuff to the dump instead of donating to the Restore.
I have to say though that Anna, when she was working there, was the best. Always helpful, knew the prices, knew where every item was in the store.
The good people are always leaving and they hire people with horrible customer service skills. They like to pick a fight.

Well I’ve been dealing with restore. I’ve dropped off thousands of dollars and bought a ton of stuff from there. But now the staff is not knowledgeable about the material they have so if u try to buy somthing he looks it up on a computer. And comes up with a price close to new. Well this place is soppose to help the community. I tried to explain u looking at a pruduct that was not the same. And it was only partial. He became very rude and kicks me out of store. Because I prove to him that he was wrong. U can see the store is so packed never been like this in 10 years. I’m telling all contractors don’t give your left over materials there. Cause they no longer here for the community. I fix a lot of people that are struggling so I buy used stuff to help people. But. Now same price to go to the store. Saving 10 percent dont help the less fortunate. The new manager is not knowledgeable he should maybe listen to people that are in the working field . I’ve told them before that’s to cheap and gave them more money than they asked. I have a truck load of left over material I just brought to the dump from 5 contractors. Theyy up need to wake up

This is by far one of the best places to go shopping in the city. It's worth it to go that extra mile to the restores location. Just east of Baileys. The staff are courteous, polite, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. These guys sure make shopping for housing material a lot less stressful. The prices are the lowest anywhere I know of. They have an extremely varied inventory of construction material, tools and equipment. As well as many other treasures that you could only find at a garage sale or flea market. If you are doing any kind of renovation. Do yourself a favor and check with the restore for any material u need.

They must deal with some real problem people as the staff are pretty crusty...
... asked them to hold some styrofoam insulation, came in and it was gone (100 mile round trip).
....ambiguous sign on door about dogs - just say no dogs allowed if thats what you mean
dont expect much - well intentioned but poor on service.
