2 stars for the cause and one for the volunteers. Minus 2 stars for trying to be like value village. In all honesty the money goes to a great cause but the prices have over the past few years skyrocketed on most things. Great for small tools and kitchen dishes/ knick knacks. At least 25% too high on everything else

I use a small backpack for a purse has everything I need . 3 months whenever i go nothing was said today i was told i had to leave my bag at entrance try explain worker says it doesn't matter its still a backpack. As i was leave a non native went in with small backpack was not approached by workers to leave her bag at entrance. Safe to say i will never shop there again.

The concept is fantastic but their pricing is ridiculous!
They have big cans of wd40 that they're charging over$50.00 for each and yet I took a picture of the exact same product at lordco and Canadian Tire that was selling for $10-15 bucks cheaper and they still wouldn't budge!
I'm all about supporting charity but come on, this is robbery.
This is to help low income families, yet the pricing makes it impossible for low income families to shop.

I really love this store. It sells all kinds of new and used construction supplies and different home improvement project materials. It makes small home improvements much more affordable and proceeds go to a very good cause. Their inventory is always changing as well so if they don't have something you need today they might have it tomorrow.

Staff is very nice..but Sadly they snubbed their nose at a solid wood bedframe that was well worth over a few hundred. So sad for someone in need could really have used it. Most of the stuff there is pretty much junk ...a few nice things that were sold of course...all prices are outrageous.

This is the most expensive habitat store I have ever been in. Their pricing has gone through the roof. these are donated items supposed to be being sold for reasonable prices. They are selling used bowls for 12.00$. I appreciate that it was a nice bowl but it wasn't sent to an antique store to be sold at regular store prices it was sent to a store to be shared with those less fortunate for a price they can AFFORD. And it was likely made by someone in art class not a famous artist. So, thanks for being there habitat you do great work building homes. But your c.r. store leaves much to be desired.

Awesome place for used and sometimes new building materials. They also have furniture, appliances, household items and a great staff. Metal recycling is available to. There is one in Courtenay too and proceeds go to building housing for deserving families. This society in worldwide and is always looking for trades people volunteers. Look them up on Google and get involved please.

Great place with plenty variety of used items for sale. Staff is always friendly and I would rather support them with a purchase if they have what I am looking for.
You have to keep dropping by the selection changes daily.
