Whoever is setting prices on these used items, of which they received for FREE, is out of touch. $595 dollars for a media unit? $600 for a wine fridge? It’s honestly wild.

The store is well-maintained, and it's evident that the team is deeply committed to delivering outstanding service and contributing to the community. What impressed me the most was the welcoming atmosphere and the staff's dedication to both their customers and volunteers. The prices are incredibly reasonable—I purchased a subfloor underlayment for half the cost of what retail stores typically charge. Although the box was damaged, the product inside was in perfect, brand-new condition.

I am done with donating and shopping at this location and I will stop recommending this location to anyone. Last week I found an old set of lawn darts. Two staff members including the "manager" lady Diane said to sit my item on the counter and continue shopping. I came back to pay and was told by her now all of a sudden she cannot sell me them as they are illegal. Both ladies were on their cell phones looking up lawn darts, which were banned in the 1980's. The manager lady said she was going to take them to the police station and compared them to not accepting bullets. HUH?
Give me a break! In today's world with meth and crime who cares about four old lawn darts I have never been so humiliated in my entire life! (64) Funny thing is the old guys in the back are the ones to price items and put items on the floor, they didn't care. Its not like they keep an actual inventory of what they sell, and one option is take them apart and sell as parts. This was clearly one person (Diane) overstepping her bounds.
Response : Safety regulations? Maybe you should stop selling chipped and cracked grinding discs, old un grounded tools and appliances, health devices, power cords with no ground and taped up, air lines that do not have crimps, upholstered furniture not steam cleaned, banned chemicals, damaged ladders and the list goes on. I checked with local authorities regarding these items and they laughed at me for asking something so stupid. I hope loosing a regular customer and hundreds I spent was worth it. I was going to display these , not use them.

I enjoy the store and staff volunteers until I went to look for my partner to check out the vaccum cleaners when a volunteer out if nowhere says,"This is closed off." I replied,"Oh". She proceeded to smile than laugh. There was nothing coordinating off the area not signs either.
An experience that left me feeling uncomfortable uneasy.
I told my partner and we left. She was an older lady with grey hair.

The concept is amazing, but the prices are definitely out of touch.
A telescope that I wouldn't pay $20 for at a garage sale, with missing barrow lenses, they want $175 for That's insane.
And there's no way anyone will pay $100 for an extremely dirty carpet cleaner. If you put a price tag on it of around $40, I might grab it, and not complain about cleaning it prior to using it.
Sorry, but for items that were donated, the pricing schedule is out of touch with reality. I understand that you need to pay for the building, utilities, etc, but if no one is buying items for the sticker prices, you're going backwards.

My favor Restore store!☺️ Every time I’ve visited I have found the staff and management kind, helpful and accommodating. Fil (Phil? Not sure how she spells her name!) and the others were so helpful with something I needed. And so lovely! Furthermore their selection of products, layout and display of items is well thought through and executed. Always a good shopping experience

Good selection of items with great prices. Staff was cold and unfriendly though which was surprising, because every other Habitat for Humanity Restore I've been to have really kind and helpful staff. One staff member charged me for items I didn't buy, and when I returned to resolve the issue, a different staff member was at the desk and she was super cranky. I was visiting from Ontario and was surprised at the unfriendliness.
