Had them replace my driveway as it had collapsed in a few areas and to to correct the flow of water. They took care not to damage or connect with anything in their path of the machinery. Engineer stopped by to make sure everything was right before paving The crews were professional and cleaned up after themselves. I was happy with the service and would easily recommend them.

Seeking to get my driveway paved this summer or fall of 2020, I contacted H&H for a quotation; they had crews and equipment around town already on other jobs. I mentioned that my neighbour may be interested in a quote as well. While Kent was timely in providing the initial walkdown and quotation, he was unprofessional and threatened to pull out of the job when I simply sought clarification on an aspect of the pricing (being prepared to answer questions about your pricing is part of your job in sales). Given his behaviour, I did not proceed further. Meanwhile, my neighbour accepted his quote as-is, but spent the next few months trying to obtain a ballpark date for work. After many go-arounds since June, he was told today, in October, that the job would not happen. No apologies, no decent explanation. Looks like we got the 'Kent special' treatment. H&H management: you've either got a bad apple in your crew, or you're a little too confident with what you advertise online about what you can do. Residential jobs may be pennies to you compared to your municipal contracts, but goodness, treat clients with some respect. And while we're at it: please have your crews fix the patchwork on the highway between Chalk and Deep River. Be it temporary or permanent, I've never had to drive over such unevenly applied asphalt.

H and H repaired a damaged sewer line for me. I found them to be professional and on time. When I needed them they were quick to set everything up and help me out. Pricing was fair. The workers were each pleasant and did good work. I would recommend them.

The driveway was done fast and at a competitive price. However, the driveway quickly developed a large crack and bump a few months later when the weather turned cold. The crack and bump caused water to pool in front of and into the garage. We sent them a picture and someone came out to see it and said it was a stress crack and they don't fix those but said it would get better when the weather got warm again, it didn't! So water pools in the garage when the snow melts and when it rains causing damage to anything inside because of their driveway. I recommend to everyone looking to get work done by them to stay away!

I reside in Sand Point ON Where h & h construction are putting in drainage pipes. I live in an area that is 50kms an hour and a community living zone, the road was only closed every few days , otherwise open to traffic in one direction. The trucks and front end loaders were far exceeding the speed limit while I had my Young grand children playing in our front yard (we have no back yard) My daughter spoke to H & H 's foreman on a few occasions because I was sick in hospital and because of a sign placement, regular traffic was having to use our driveway to turn around. She asked them if it was possible to relocate their sign and was told no and the foreman couldn't move fast enough to run away. The next time she tried to speak with him, she was almost ran over by the foreman. Today I watched one of their construction crew urinate on my garden in front of my home and another one throw liquid (I am sure it was urine) by the way his fellow workers were laughing. They have portable bathrooms provided for them. The employ who did urinate was also spraying florescent orange spray paint around.
These men (term used loosely) all stood around laughing like a bunch of 13 year old boys. DISRESPECTFUL & UNPROFESSIONAL does not even come close to my experience. I will be bringing my complaints to Renfrew County Construction, H & H Construction and pray to God that I never have the displeasure of having to deal with such an Unprofessional Construction company again.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Not only is this company EXTREMELY unprofessional, but they’re messy and lazy. They had to be threatened with a lawsuit before moving the discarded wood with multiple rusted nails petruding from each piece — asking politely didn’t work, which is a shame. They have personal conversations at such a volume that while working on the sidewalk outside my house, I now know TOO much personal information about their workers. Save yourself the headache and pay for not only better quality of work but a better quality of people. Find a company who cares.

Messy, unapproachable, and unprofessional. With years of experience working in the field I can only say I am ashamed by the lack of management involvement in road projects. Valid complaints and safety issues go in answered. Also process planning is off. Example, why dig a 3" trench on driveway side of curb Monday morning , (car drags/bottoms out) if your not returning to fill/finish for another two days? I would love to utilize my driveway as apposed to parking on the Rd. closer to the steady traffic of construction vehicles and personnel.

I will mention a few members of the Rd crew, and workers on site, more commonly the young lads, were friendly and tried within there limited authority to resolve some issues.

Now have to wait even longer to get updated internet. The construction took too long on roads, and they have to wait until spring to upgrade the lines. About a month past their deadline. Pretty bad when you are affecting other companies.
