Grace Inn is NOT a safe shelter to sleep in. My clothes were stolen from in front of the security desk attended by staff and somehow was taken into the bedroom area, that area has a locked security door requiring staff to "clear you" prior to entering but yet the theif was allowed access passed the security door with my stolen clothes by staff.

A deplorable and shameful mess. This place makes the entire city a worse place to live.

The staff here are wonderful people! They are understanding to those trying to improve their own lives. Management are friendly when around, and try their best to get to know current residents. A solid stepping stone for those who want to get permanently off the streets. The place follows sanitation guidelines, as well as health codes set by the government issued guidelines. Food (and sometimes desserts) is made in establishment, or given through trusted donations. A place you can call home for a night, as they treat us like one big family. Personally thankful for this opportunity to be in here!

This place is amazing! It provides shelter needs for those looking to get back in society. The staff are well trained and able to help those who are willing to change/grow connect with the community and utilize their own skills for a better future. They get donations from those in our community, and provide back by allowing people a second chance and thus becoming members of this wonderful community. An organization that is worth supporting in every way possible so we can make a better future for all.

The staff are unpredictable. I experienced bullying February 19th. Female staff was rude and did not follow through with helping me or providing an offered coffee. I was hypoglycemic and tired. She Fraudulently called the police. She was yelling at the top of her voice. I think she was on Crytal Meth herself possibly or has Mental health issues. Her unprofessional behavior demonstrated to the drug addict that was already yelling at me that it is OK to be aggressive loud and mean. I ran to my abusers residence which I thought was safer than the Homeless Shelter but her call to the police preceeded my attempt and I suffered POLICE BRUTALITY because of her actions. They need to change things.... I worked as an R.N. for over 23 years in Peterborough( Hospital and Community) and I have never smoked Meth... I want COMPENSATION from the City of Belleville for this mess.. Rating it a negative 100...

This place needs to close. They are just bringing all the junkies into the downtown core of Belleville, and they are ruining the city. Syringes everywhere, people screaming at random cars, fist fights, harassing patrons and business owners. I'm taking this to city council. And worst of all, all of this is taking place about 100 feet from a high school, and an elementary school. I'm absolutely disgusted.

It's freezing and people need warm clothes. It's a great resource for the city and people in need.

Thanks so much.

This was suppost to ne a 24 shelter with qualified staff round the clock it's a scam look to cobourg transition home its successful but they don't want to or care and why is that belleville is the only place to do this is you have to prove your getting on your feet like homeless is enough to have to worry about.
This place is so corrupt what is wrong with this town this place has been the same for 30 years it will never change grow get with the program or amount to anything.
