I’ve had a great experience at the Goodwill Calgary Outlet! The concept of pricing clothes and items by the pound at $1.45/pound is fantastic—it's a bargain hunter’s dream. New bins arrive every 15 minutes, so there’s always fresh stock to browse. Contrary to some of the reviews I’ve read about teens grouping around bins, I’ve actually witnessed a very orderly process on the three occasions I’ve visited. While some shoppers are definitely eager for branded items, everyone remained respectful and waited for the go signal before diving in. Kudos to the management for keeping things in check! The only downside is that many items in the furniture section are a bit worn out, but overall, my experience has been excellent. Will definitely keep coming back!

I love the fact that I found this place to shop for me to do my hobby restoring, repurposing items and some of them
Keep and some of them sell:)
Very friendly stuff, willing to help Andrew very special ladies that help me with furniture. , loading up in my car . Like them. Today Olha helped me, Penny was so nice and I forgot another ladies name , they work hard and keep smiling 🙏

This is a great place to shop, offering affordable items and unique finds. However, it can be difficult to pick through items when some individuals behave aggressively in the bins.
Additionally, I’ve heard that a few people who frequent this location daily and resell the goods may be in Canada on visitor visas. Reselling items while on a visitor visa is not permitted under Canadian immigration regulations. I hope Goodwill will take these concerns seriously and look into both the behavior in the store and the potential misuse of the facility to ensure a fair and respectful shopping environment for everyone.

My wife was there on Tuesday June 24/2025, she is a regular customer at the bin store but when she went to pay for her hull, she was told to put her cart on the scale and that it was calibrated right even though the big cart was still on the scale, she had maybe 5-6 lbs of stuff but the scale said 11 lbs...it was 5pm and they were closing she was tired & didn't catch the error till after she was on her way home. I used to work integrity inspections and this looks like someone maybe skimming the till? Corporate should look into this!

So we just went here literally. I'm still sitting in the parking lot and I brought my child with me because I was going to look for a jacket with him and then look for pants we go in. Someone stops us and says how old is he and he said 9 years old and she's like. Oh I'm sorry 12 years old and up. Have to go in here. I was actually willing to spend about $100 there, but I guess I can't shop there for 3 more years. Four more years and by then I probably won't shop here at all if that's the case if your policy is 12 years old and up that's ridiculous cuz most parents aren't going to hire a babysitter just to go to a Goodwill bin store.

As soon as a new bin rolls out, it’s like the start of the Hunger Games. Teenagers diving in like their lives depend on grabbing a grubby 2007 Nike hoodie they might be able to flip for $5 on eBay. You will get elbowed by a teen reseller in crocs. Someone will grab something right out of your hands. I'm giving 2 stars for the entertainment and people-watching. Go in with zero expectations.

Please address the older woman with the longer hair working at the front and tell her not to talk to customers like they are pure trash. She absolutely laced into my husband, (who's French by the way has an accent) he feels discriminated because of this. We come to shop spend a couple of hundred dollars and get treated like that. It's not right. The East Indian girl who works there is very sweet by the way, she's doing a wonderful job and has great customer service.

This place is awesome! I've been here twice now and have had a great experience both times. The staff has been friendly, and they keep things running very efficiently. The price is unbeatable. If you're looking for a bargain this is the place for you.
