Lovely place for classes etc. They have a cafeteria there which is nice. Food is inexpensive only problem is it tastes bad, as simple bad cooking done by people who weren’t trained to cook. I still love the place and maybe they can improve on the food they serve.

I love the vibes full of energy and happiness there! I brought a big bunch of senior Chinese newcomers and paid a visit there on last Friday as ISSofBC digital on the go class teacher's interpreter volunteer and the receptionists were so helpful and friendly answering our sudden request of getting lots of information for different enquiry from the group! Space is so decently designed and decorated! Cosy and intellectual indeed for anyone over 50 to relax and enjoy their moments here! Will come again soon!

I have visited this location for many years to have a volunteer complete my tax returns as a senior after which the experience has never fallen short of a five star review! I have had my tax return completed and filed again and the same experience was much appreciated as a senior on low income for free or a small donation for the community centre.

It's definitely aimed at seniors but I attend courses here regularly and have a great time! Really nicely priced art classes, workshops, cooking classes, etc. A gem of a local place

Was just trying to buy a handmade baby blanket at the store. They open only until 2pm and I was trying to multi-task by walking my dog and getting something at the same time during lunch break. Checked the store - no signs of "no dogs allowed", so I brought my dog in just for quick purchase so we can be in and out quickly. The product is really nice and I really wish that the credit card machine would have worked and I get to actually spent the over $200 on a nice gift I have been eyeing (passing by before on dog walks).

However the experience turned from bad to worse. The lady at the store was trying to help me as much as possible which I appreciate a lot, but having technical issues with the terminal so she needed to ask for help from the front desk. I was still trying to be patient after 3 tries - without a decline recipts. Even though I was getting nervous at this point, I suggested that I will come back again with cash, they kept trying. Now it turned unacceptable when they called maybe the "supervisor" of the technology or the "handmade" store, "Shawna" I think it was the name. The first word was - you have to get that dog out of here, looking at my dog as if it's a pest, not looking at me when she spoke as if I didn't exist. Jumped to try to fix the terminal without much acknowledgment to me, at the same time kept saying that I needed to wait outside and dog now allowed.

I said again hope that they would hear me that I will come back another time, but yet again the response was no dogs allowed. I had to just walk out. Mind-blown by the type of "customer service" I just received.

A few suggestions for management if you ever see this message:
1. Basic customer service training please - show that you actually care about your customers.
2. If you do not allow dogs, please post on the window. I am disappointed at the treatment I am getting even though my dog behaves well. I would consider Coquitlam as a dog friendly city but I was challenged today by a city staff of that believe unfortunately.
3. Make sure the technology works if you offer that option - pay by credit card.
