2 stars because I actually like the gym. The equipment hasn't been updated for years, ensuring costs are low for members. The sauna however is a joke. The sensor is right above the heat, making it turn off too soon. Members have to manipulate the sensor to keep it on long enough but now the gym is threatening revoked memberships!? I don't understand because the thermometer they put inside only reached 150, but it's set to 190. I've written a couple complaints, but they only keep making it worse. Now there's a metal cage over the sensor that is touching it and forcing the heat to turn off even sooner than designed. Oh, plus they don't bother scrubbing black mold from the showers. I just wish I had a hot sauna again to calm this rage.

The Gimli Aquatic Centre has finally been completed and is certainly worth the wait and the expense to the community. The facilities are first class and the fun factor for children and adults is 5 Star.

Ice is usually great for stick and pucks, and its longer then an hour so thats a big plus.
Friendly staff at the front desk. great recent light update, definitely my favorite go to place.

As a local I enjoy the pool with the grandkids and the skater park. It also has a small gym for workouts. Hockey and curling in the winter. This facility is well used for all sorts of functions.

Go ever year with my gf. Pool needs to be cleaned and more attention should be to seniors.

The consistent failure to provide the community with any place to play hockey is criminal, outdoor rink is never open, what recreation center is closed on the weekend? Increasingly disappointed with employees and how this place is run. A shadow of what this place used to be.

Loving the new pool! We have enjoyed swim lessons and public swim. It's been a great addition to our summer rotation!!
