I don't use drugs, not on medication. Started a new job Wouldn't let me shower after 4:45pm. I work till 5pm in the construction business. Yet they allow drug addicts to use on the property steal and litter everywhere. Rules Inconsistent on shift changes. Some who work there try to piss you off when your trying to get back on your feet. Narcissistic people.

Hi, homeless shelters are in short supply.
The Support Workers here work very hard to help the residents transition towards finding residences and work. They also help with addictions 24/7/365.
Hats off for the Support Workers for doing such GREAT WORK!!!

The employees allow kleptos to steal bikes from inside the shelter and remain here while other people go to work. They only made us clean before a film crew came here. The night guy sleeps on the job and isn't fired but the residents are kicked out for no reason, excluding users who are allowed to stay. Sever mental health to the point of yelling and threatening people is allowed to continue unchecked, the staff is not trained for this and no one there staff or residents should have to put up with this. How ever the weekend staff is great during the days, even though they have to deal with the majority of the craziness that occurs. 10/10 would not recommend unless you do not value your items.

Was stranded in Fredericton due to vehicle breakdown and had to sleep outside due to drug addicted people needing a safe spot to shoot up drugs while leaving they needles and pipes on the streets.
Quite sad and would recommend donating to John Howard over this organization

These people who help and or run this place are idiots. I was kicked out and framed for taking a video of a staff, when in reality I was on the phone. The staff love to target those with sever mental illness. Things need to change. Not impressed...

would recommend this when in a hard spot but you must have a large independence there for they do not connect you to any other facility as in how to get food stamps or street survival guides out sourced work or job boards but there is access to internet (not monitored) they stretch there means as fare as they can so they can help you what they have but if it's out side these four walls it's ruff added some help for tips in my photo

Stayed only very shortly at this Grace House Shelter briefly. That was a good thing. The manager that runs the shelter does not run it good at all her name is Prachanda not sure on the spelling .of her name but she is a very greedy and very mean woman all the ladies get treated very poorly there by her and also the young workers she has there. There are a lot of rules and she makes them very strict for no reason like im not able to get one piece of mail there because im no longer there but have no money to my name and could really use the $100 check that is suppose to be coming there for me.I was kicked out of grace house and put on the s.t for 30 days for a few rules that were broke the first time I was ever in a shelter which I think is very wrong as I was new and dint understand some as I have a leaning dissabilty. They know this also some of the rules were thing like water and a few chessies left in my room by accident I just got out of hospitral recovering froim sugery which I was to do nothing likei told them what the doctors said but it made no difference to them at all.She said one of the rules were I coiulnt park in the driveway im not sure why there was all kinds of room there so one night I asked the worker cecila if I could go and get my smokes out of my car and she said sure just make it fast its a bit after curfew time like 2 mins I said ok went found them had a quick smoke then went to door rang it and she says no you dint ask me permissioin to leave you must not come back untilk the next day after 1230 pm I said ok im mot sure why your saying I dint ask you but I will obey your wish but then I remembered my medication and knocked on the office door instead because that's where the medication s are all stored I dint hear anyone so I go to turn around and the cops are there!! I was like are you hre for me and there like yes we are I left right away I was in complete shock that they would call the police on me im very tiny woman and don't have a criminal record of any kind whatsoever so im diabetic insulin depebdant and needed my pain medications anf antibiatics which were suppose to be paid for me as as they were not covered by my health card Prashansa she said they would pay for them as she had talked to her boss and im not sure if she ever did because the animals the dog and cat were treated much better than the women were suppose to get the donated items such as clothes or personals it was all old stuff nobody wanted as the dog and cat are getting clothing, gourmey food, all the money the people of Fredericton ect....are donating to the shelter is not being used right its all going in her wallet for her to use for what she wants for her home which is not right meanwhile 100 lbs no place to go because of this woman as well as other woman. One of the womangot her facel all smashed in that she was knocked out and an ambulance had to come get here another woman was sexually assaulted and I was in a car accident because I was so cold I made a mistake and took a turn not sharp enogh and that was it bang. She doesn't care what she does or says to woman are in harm by breaking rules so they are inmore danger by her doing this all the shelters are full and we need better workers for sure and more shelters where we know exactly where money is going but this lady need to be fired asap because she is doing a lot of harm to these women tnat go there and some of the rules also need to be revised its a shame what we have to go thogh and she knows she I not doing her job the right way at all so please lets do something about this paying 250 a month and im ony allowed thn sheet to go to sleep with thankfully it was summertime and not winter or I would froze to death right into the ground over rule breaking of having chessies in my room I really think there are more importsnt thins but I will just stop here as long as I put the word about her put a woman in there who knows how to properly do here job that really cares about us because I feel very lost now thank you very much .Deb
