We drove up to Hay River specifically to attend the Farmers Market at the Fisherman's Wharf Pavillion - 2 booths were offering fush and chips - one was significantly busier than the and we tried the busier line up - fish was excellent - good portions.

There were booths offering baking, artisan crafts, NWT clothing, a lady serving up noodles. Overall not a huge selection of offerings but for a small town it was nice.

The Pavillion is beautiful, I can imagine with the heat on it would be very comfortable!

Fisherman's Wharf was a Fun Place to come in the Morning to Saturday. We didn't know that they had a Market that Draws the Town and the Tourists Together. They had some Arts, Crafts, Produce and Restaurant Food There. We had Fish and Chips, which were Excellent. The Sweet Bread Sold Out Sadly.

We came here and stopped by. There was no one there, but we still enjoyed the peaceful view from all the fisherman's boats. We can revisit this place in the future when an event occurs.

Saturdays 10 to 2 in the summer. Artist booths, fresh fish n chips using fish caught locally. Fun, occasional live music, local and indigenous art.

I loved the ambience. Such wonderful folks. The fish and chips tasted amazing, and the fresh produce is great to get. Of course the ice coffee finished off the morning.

Great fish and chips at Shannon Buckley's stall. Funnel cakes were awesome as well! Lots of visiting with friends!
