I absolutely loved my stay here while my grandmother is undergoing knee surgery. Very clean and the volunteer staff is wonderfully sweet. Common livingroom and kitchen, the bedrooms are fairly large and the beds very comfortable (even the cot I slept in the first night before the surgery was comfy!)

My wife and I stayed one night before my knee operation and my wife stayed three more nights until I was released from the hospital. There was two twin beds in our room a very clean large and wheel chair accessible bathroom. There is a very nice TV room and a very well setup kitchen that anyone was able to use. There was lots of different types of bread, butter, jams and a Variety of other spreads that was supplied. You could bring anything you want to eat and put thinks in the fridge and cupboards with your name on it. It is an excellent place for a family member to stay while you are in the hospital. The staff are volunteers and are very professional and friendly and very helpful in anyway they can be. I would definitely recommend it anyone who has a distance to travel. The rates a very reasonable and they even have a nice little gift shop with exceptionally good prices. I have one more knee to get done and we will definitely be staying if there are room available. Thank you.

Highy recommend the volunteers are wonderful and welcoming the rooms are very nice and cozy. It's really refreshing to get thus type of facilities at a super price I will definitely be donating to this worthy cause.

If you have to stay in Kentville while a loved one is in hospital you will the feel so comfortable and welcome at Fidelis House. The atmosphere is calm and homey. It was absolutely the best stay. You can walk to Hospital, parking is very reasonable and available. I found some flour butter and sugar. Made shortbread for all the guests. Isn't that feeling like a home away from home. Recipe 2cups flour, 1cup butter and 1/2 cup sugar.

What a lovely experience! During a stressful situation, the wonderful people at Fidelis House made us feel so welcome and so much at home. Details such as a common kitchen and living room, handmade quilts, private baths, and if course an ideal location, made for an unexpectedly comfortable and stress-free stay.

Fidelis house provides affordable, comfortable accommodations for those needing to stay close to loved ones. There are common areas and kitchen facilities available for use by all guests. The staff are all volunteers and the society is a non-profit.

The volunteers are absolutely wonderful. The rooms and kitchen were very clean. We absolutely loved it there. When my mom needs her surgery we shall be absolutely staying there again for sure
