I was looking for a local farm that treats their animals humanely and Ferme Rêveuse fit the bill. We have recently signed up for their bi-weekly deliveries and are impressed.
Their eggs, meat/products and kombucha are fantastic - immaculately clean and tasty, and you can definitely feel the quality. Plus you know their animals are raised naturally and with care. We are very happy to get quality and tasty food and that we can support a local farm that does the right thing.

I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism I experienced with this company, especially from the owner. I reached out to inquire about their $44 per kilo chicken, which I found to be significantly overpriced compared to other reputable vendors offering similar products for $11–12 per kilo. Instead of offering a helpful or informative response, I was met with condescension and an insinuation that I lacked knowledge about the value of quality food.

To make matters worse, the owner implied that purchasing chicken from more affordable retailers, like Walmart, would lead to health problems. This not only feels like an attack on those who are budget-conscious but also dismisses the financial realities of most families. The average grocery bill for a family of four is about $1,000 per month. If a family needs just 1kg of chicken per day, which is not excessive for a household of four, that would cost $1,320 per month—just for chicken. This price is $320 more than the entire average monthly grocery budget!

While I understand that some products may justify higher prices due to quality or sourcing, suggesting that customers are misinformed or don't value quality simply because they can't afford inflated prices is insulting. The owner’s dismissive and condescending tone toward potential customers reflects poorly on their brand and shows a lack of empathy for the majority of people working hard to make informed, budget-conscious decisions.

This is not the way to gain loyal clients. Respect and professionalism go a long way in building trust and relationships with customers, and this experience was the complete opposite.

I cannot, in good conscience, recommend shopping here or supporting someone with such a dismissive attitude toward the financial constraints and realities faced by most people. There are plenty of businesses that offer high-quality products without belittling their customers. On top of that, I noticed the owner frequently argues with other negative reviewers instead of reflecting on their behavior. This is not the mark of a professional willing to improve.

Screenshots of my correspondence with the owner are included below as evidence of the unacceptable conduct. I will keep this post up unless a formal apology is issued. I hope this company reflects on how they treat potential clients and strives to improve moving forward.

A neat and charming farm, that takes immense care of their animals well being, as well as their shelters and it shows. A sustainable and ethically run establishment that pays their employees fair wages. They are the perfect model for the type of farming the world should be moving towards.

As for their products. Their eggs, the best I ever tasted, and trust me I tried many. I can say the same about their chicken. The juiciest chicken with much less fat. I should also say they have the biggest chicken wings I ever had, and that says a lot of the chickens health. Their sausages are excellent for breakfast and they have many flavours. Gluten-free also.
Their beef are of premium quality, and with each bite you can taste the difference. Last but not least, their kombucha are amazing, and they have many unique flavours as well as seasonal. All for a reasonable price, and I love that they deliver RIGHT TO YOUR DOOR.

The owner, Kornel is the epitome of kindness, class, hard work, openness, and generosity.

I highly recommend Ferme Rêveuse to the discerning clientele. They deserve all the compliments and accolades they receive.

Totally agree with the enthusiasm for Ferme Reveuse food, and the evident commitment to quality of Kornel, Olga and their family. We're primarily a vegetarian household so mostly get their eggs, which are wonderful. But every once in a while for larger family gatherings we'll order a chicken. Was skeptical the first time about the taste of such large birds, but we've had three or four by now and they are always a great treat.

God bless this family and this farm. Ferme Rêveuse is where I buy all my eggs, meat poultry and kombucha from now on. Quality is unparalleled and serves my local community in RDP.

Locally pastured chicken that are fantastic tasting, have great texture and are not fatty. Perfect alternative to other meats when you're looking to support local farmers and want to reduce your carbon footprint. When you pay for these birds you pay for a lot of meat and the price is very fair. Beautiful roasters that are awesome for soups, pies and stews too. Mr. Shneider brings them right to my door and if I'm not home it's very easy to connect. Don't forget the delicious sausages - try the fine herbs. Contrary to what you might think, these are not dry when cooked but with just the right amount of pork fat mixed in. Eggs are sublime too. I will not buy chicken from anywhere else.

We have been ordering pasture-raised chicken and eggs from Ferme Reveuse for almost a year now, and we highly recommend them. The taste and quality are amazing, and we appreciate Kornel and Olga's passion for producing food in a way that is better for the animals, better for the environment, and better for us. We have also loved touring the farm and getting to see where our food comes from.
