Great people but shoddy food & options, most tasteless "meal" I've found in the city & comparable to eating trash soaked in bleach/urine, to be expected I suppose considering they hand out food ~3mth past expiry (received 01Jun24) and likely don't bother checking dates, the fact someone considers themselves a cook and chose this position here, thinking it works because they ad heat, is pathetic, would not recommend in any light, nothing but a prime example to the sham that is this city's supposed "support" system. 1 star for the pleasant staff, 1 for convenience and even this is debatable, far from recommended for any form of support and there's much better available with some planning/improvisations, things like this only look to knock a person down further and get the simple tax cut/write off that comes with themselves, worthless to any individual seriously looking for any assistance or self improvement
**edit** anyone who received those "grab&go" turkey containers, don't eat them as they're WELL past expiry and fermented, opened one and it stank up the area, literally no edible food from there on their supposed "lunch", just an FYI.

I used to go here when I lived in Halifax almost 20 years ago. The food was good. The only reason why I don't rate it a 5 is because it does get quite cramped during meals, I have no idea if it's still like that.

Turning people away based on discrimination is unreal! Like some "christians"... people think because they go to church they are reserved a spot in heaven and can call themselves a good person.
